if anyone knows what is causing the culling effect to persist after an uninstallation of the mod, please tell me, i know that the culling goes away when using the launch parameter "-noworkshop", so it has to be something left over from either this mod or another one

disabling the fog through your menu seems to remove the visual effect itself, but the game still thinks it's there and culls objects far enough away from the player, creating an unusual effect, how do i shut this damn thing off?

How does one enable the default skybox to remain visible through the fog?

i got bored today and came to look at my addon comments and its genuinely surprising you are still here car0.

i havent thought about my gmod addons for like a year because i have stuff going on in my life (college and cancer being the main ones), but i finally decided to look into your fog issue again because i was bored.

i think i found the solution based on your comment saying

"I unsubscribed from all my addons and the fog was gone but then I resubscribed to them using a collection (not including fps fog) and it was back"

so i looked at your gmod collection you made

uninstall "horde optimizer"

it literally has nothing to do with my addon, you actually just have an addon that makes fog in your game.

If I were the mod author I would add a warning to whoever downloads this mod in the title and description until this gets fixed

This doesn't seem to lower performance at all.. I tried it in rp_pbmrf_v8a and there is no difference, I still got 1fps lmao

The collection had no mention of fps fog and I even cleared out my addon folder (for my pc C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\4000 at least I think it is the addon folder)

Do other addons contain the strange fog????? Please help

Using -noworkshop removes the uninstall-persistent fog while it is being used
