I also tested in Single Player, with the Caterham again and it should work now.
It seems to be an older Problem, that was getting worse with one of the Game Updates in the last Months.
It is the Setting of the Cones with VisGroups, that i need to have to get them being displayed or not, in the different Sessions, in Combination with setting them as collidable.
Now you "hit" them, even if you are not in the Near of them, so that it seems as if the Collision Radius is much bigger now.
I think, i will completely remove the Cones from all Shortcuts of all 3 Layouts.
That should solve the Problem.
The strange Thing is, that it happens with some Cars only.
But when i, for Example, use our SMMG F3 2019-2023, i have no Problem at all.
I have made a Version without the Cones in the Shortcut, but also with that, i get the Caterham being damaged.
Do you know a non DLC Vehicle with that it happens too, that i can test it in DevMode?
(I don't have the DTM Mod that you did mention)
What i don't understand, is, why you have to hit the Cones.
There definitely are no other invisible Objects.
So when you don't hit the Cones, there is no Problem.
Or do i misunderstand you somewhere?
But nevertheless, thanks for your efford and your mod, it is a shame that I cannot use it in the actual state.
Probably the Value for the front Bumper in the Damage.ini File is set too low.
To hit a Cone shouldn't cause any Damage.
And if it's only that, just don't hit the Cones. ;)
With the Cones on the Straight, i didn't put them on Track, so that you can go on the Straight with more Speed, to get a more similar Speed at the Start/Finish Line, like you would have, if you would drive the full Lap.
So i will not change anything and a Video is not necessary.
But thank you for reporting it.
It would be also nice, to have the cones on the straight as in real life ;)
Video is not so easy as your telemetry is not shown in repaly, if needed I will record one differently
And is it the P or the P+Q Layout?
Do you drive the Out Lap, in the Way that i have shown in my above Video?
And @Raf Nix No, the AI can not use it.
works perfectly
no bug
thank you very much !!!!
good work
