you have to use darts and let it eat corpses to heal, it's meant to be VERY hard to tame (can't build a trap, it will just smash it, don't remember if i wanted it to break TEK or not, but it does break metal), but at the end of it you do get a creature that's stronger than any vanilla

they're limited to 1-3 per map (i don't remember what i commissioned, was a while ago), but they have a small chance to spawn instead of a regular rex pretty much anywhere

no, i don't play ASA and don't plan on paying for a mod for that game, and UGZ is busy with an updated version of JWE mod for ASE, not sure if he'll bring it to ASA but he might, it will include Ultima too, check his discord server

For those wanting less spawns use the below code. I have tested it and thus far am getting far less overspawning of them, no longer seeing 2+ per any area where Rex's usually spawn.

Spawns should be reduced in the next update, and knocking off is exactly what i wanted it to do, it's supposed to be a hard tame :)

Hello, UGZ.Can you slightly weaken this dinosaur? His roar frequency is so high that I am often stun by his throat and my dinosaur is also likely to die. And his attributes are too high. If I could weaken them a bit, I think I would fall in love with this mod. Thank you！

some people might find this comment a bit selfish but i have no bad intentions, just for info - i commissioned this mod and it is the way it is because i like it this way, i am open to criticism though, also don't expect UGZ (or any other modder) to just create new mods for everyone for free, it costs time and money

I am no expert on modeling nor modding so I don't how hard or time consuming it would be, but I really like this version which actually was the prepossessed version for a JP Movie, before Steven abandoned the whole hybrid idea

they're a rare spawn, and they spawn off of regular rexes, so basically anywhere where you can find a regular rex, there's a small chance you will find Ulti instead of a rex (not sure how many times i have to say this simple thing xd)

the one map that spawns 3-4 or even more at a time is crystal isles, other maps (workshop and default) that i've tested only have 1-2 per map

have not had any spawn in my game, but that's mostly because I have multiple mods that overwrite the default spawns...

they spawn where regular rexes do, they're a rare spawn, i've tested base and workshop maps and always found some
