i experimented with adding naval combat, but it ended up just becoming too complicated and time-consuming. feel free to have a go at it if you like.

I was wondering if there was a way to modify this to like Seafarers/pirates, introducing stuff like U boats, Dreadnoughts, and transport ships, make it more cursed with water tiles

Okay, I wasn't expecting this! Actually amazing mechanics, ngl. A little chaotic at first. but actually really fun

Only problem is the concrete imo. We had a lot of it and couldn't use it properly... I'd rather use the other ressources to build the new structures, I think.

Combat was crazy, but maybe we find an idea to balance it even for 3 players :D

the textures for the tiles wont load, they are just black, any idea how to fix this? have tried re installing and have also tried sfw version with no luck

Yo, I've ported a lot of the functionality from the scripted version of regular Catan to this edition, would you be opposed to me uploading it to the workshop with your name if I clean it up? It's got dice roll buttons, card deal buttons (which respect robbers, ruins, and occupations), hand sorting and shuffling, number chit highlighting, and automatic victory point tallying. Had a lot of fun with the game regardless! <3

Noticed that there were 2 black robber pawns on the table when loading up the map. Just curious if that's supposed to be there or if we just us 1 robber like normal.

@Ethanol27 Hey man, my buddies and I actualy really enjoyed this version and I was considering implementing all the expansions just to see how delightfully dreadful I could make this. Did you find anything while making this that I should watch out for when attempting a similar project?

Have tried that, the game comes up with the error that the it could not receive data from the imgur link for the texture. It might be working on your end because you have the texture files itself saved on your pc. Either sharing the texture for the numbers or reuploading them to imgur with a new link and sharing that should do the trick though, if you have the time and don't mind.

it looks like the numbers are working fine on my end. maybe try re-downloading the mod?

what i meant by skipping is that there's 28 number chips and only 25 tiles to put them on, so some numbers end up out of game. So which ones do you not use? Also random?

you place the numbers randomly when you set up. im not sure what your other question is referring to, but the only tiles that don't get a number are the deserts.

What is the right order to put the numbers when setting up? And which ones do you skip?
