EK2 devs r the villains of this story they made every save that used this mod unplayable and crash your game.....

takes them years to update because of all the internal conflict they have in their dev team while on the surface they r a big accepting smiley face community (I'd know because i was a part of their dev team but i left because of all the pedophilic comments they were making)

@javelin55 I dont know what kind of elder scrolls games you are playing but homophobia isnt really a thing in setting. Also making a mechanic that actively encourages you to kill gay characters for being gay would still be homophobic even if it was a feature of TES.

i helped with making parts of the mod, i was in contact with the dev for a good while. i dont think he was bullied away from modding, he just kind of stopped being online at some point, maybe decided to do real life stuff. as someone here said the mod wasnt destroyed

Your mod was one of the reasons why I started modding ck3. The ability to have a truly nuanced EK2 game is something we will most likely not see again any time soon.

Okay, I ain't familiar with the drama surrounding this mod, I don't know if the mod author is Homophobic or not, but, as a Bi guy who is as far left as you can get, fucking over a mod because it added In-Lore Homophobia is stupid and wrong. If the modder was hateful, and did it for hateful reasons, that I kind of get, but even then, I see no reason to destroy this mod in the way that did happen.

Честно сказать, я не вникал в суть. Если это было просто скрыто и нигде не упоминалось, то да, это плохо, если это отдельная настройка которую можно включить по желанию, то почему бы и нет. Все же гомофобия хоть и неадекватное явление, но имеет место быть, в играх в том числе, и да, я абсолютно толерантен к LGB людям

причём он это прятал, если тот же дебаф был на нордах или имперцав, вы эту фичу по имени бы называли - псевдовирус, мод делает что то необъяснимое и с ним не связанное

I don't think its that crazy of a thing to say that mods shouldn't hide debuffs in their code and do stuff they don't explicitly state to do. This wouldn't fly if it were to apply to anything else - like debuffing people for playing Nords or Imperials, but the moment its the gays it becomes acceptable for some reason.

The homosexuality debuff was applied to your imperial decay modifier if you employed homosexuals at your court period.

You could make the case that historically certain cultures were homophobic and thus characters of those cultures would discriminate against them. However, this is the game itself, not an ingame character, punishing the player for harboring homosexuals.

However, as mallerik pointed out, none of this applies to Elder Kings. So yeah, definitely put in out of personal conviction - no other way to read it.

Tbh the problem is that in ck3 the sexuality is just known and open, but just useless beyond fertility or seduction scheme blocks. Gay and married with kids was great in that sense. Meant no bastards to mess up the established order actually. in IRL or fiction

I just want the archaeology/ruin exploration system from this back. It was really fun to take your character and fund or join expeditions into the dark dungeons and see what you'd get. would make even more sense with the new adventurer lifestyles and actions to be able to explore the ruins and dungeons of Tamriel.
