Odst's with shotguns squad up beside you for genuinely competent AI faction battles, the increased enemy count makes you feel like its an actual war, rather than a lone gunman chief against a few squads. Nothing was changed betrays the original vision.
The environments have been tweaked a bit for more flavour, floodified walls and tentacles sprout where they nest, dead corpses litter rooms where battles took place, crates and boxes fill once empty corridors.
I love the little details like the gravemind speaking in a ominous line in a specific room in the maw, a woman crying in a language i can't understand in keyes. great stuff.
I think the library is still pretty bad but this mod does it's best despite to rectify its flawed design. I also miss the energy swords lunge :(

You might be able to play the other overhauls by finding them on the Nexus and then reverting MCC to a beta version that it was made for. But it would not be an easy thing to do.
I don't believe so. by the time you get that message, they're already dead. I've even tried to go back there but no luck. I guess the answer is no
