Had 9 Tiyanki fleets at my border while at war with a neighbor, got saved by a FE fleet from a nearby system

10/10 would play again

@BlackViper Hmm, if you used an army to invade it or used a colossus to crack it then it should have stopped. I guess it's broken maybe, I'll do my best to update it at some point but who knows when, time sucks. Anyway, here is the command to end it: event tiyres_events.8

Forgot to say - I've got the pop up event message about graveyard screaming etc like 10 years ago, but fleets keep spawning over and over again. Is there any console command to stop that?

It does work. Though I have no idea how to stop Tyianki from making any more fleets? I've cleansed Tiyun Ort and all the neighbouring systems plenty of times, but fleets just keeps spawning even in surveyed systems, though at least not in colonized ones.

I have been playing this mod for months and I never seen it first hand because it's "ALWAYS" on the other side of the map. lol. Anyway we can have an option to spawn next to this? Or closer? My game maps hate me!

@0.01 KD Yeap, but it was done in a rush. It also have a planet infestation system though. Anyway, I simply don't have time to make this properly right now but plan to later on.

Очень слабый мод. Просто спавнит группу флотов, которые пытаются снести всё подряд.

На кризис вообще не тянет, так как у этих флотов - большие проблемы с подкреплениями да и сила их, очень маленькая.

Hmmm...the console says it executed the event, but I still have "A Core Resolve" and the console shows the red X for "Has the tiyres_in_progress flag"? I let about a month go by, as well. Not really an issue though, my only concern was it preventing the other MODJAM crisis but I've already had and handled another one, so it looks like they should keep spawning.

Is there a command to force end this? The project is showing as "A Core Resolve, Halted" and there are no Tiyanki in the Tiyun Ort system. Tiyun Ort spawned neighboring the Ether Drake, and I think the Tiyanki fleets went there first and got annihilated, since I haven't seen any since the event started.

Little over tuned? Me and a friend did win in the end but it was an uphill battle

For one they kept spewing out 6k fleets continously and secondly the abominations had so high regen than not even a fleet twice their fleetpower with full anti armor/mining lasers could beat it's regen

Only reason i even survived is because i was playing void dweller and their AI seemed to be confused about what to do with the habitats, either because they couldn't invade them or because of the presence of multiple habitats confused their AI into just patroling the system instead of actually invading. It did however result in a hilarious but incredibly terrifying death train [cdn.discordapp.com] that formed in the system and eventually left to solo kill the harvest engine main fleet with their massive deathstack, leaving both of us incredibly shocked and terrified

Was a fun time though

Here are all the feature and lore I just made up instead of just some vague suggestions.

Tiyanki will infested every Shattered, Toxic, Barren and habitable planet. They will use the organic toxins in toxic planet as raw material to spawn new Tiyanki, and terraformed the atmosphere in to into habitable one to make Barren world into the nest for birthing new Tiyanki.

The infested planet will not blow up after total Infestation. After the first new Tiyanki fleet is born with much lesser size, the total infested planet will become Tiyanki planet.

Tiyanki planet like Relic world will have 80% Base habitability.

Tiyanki planet will generate a small Tiyanki fleet every 5 year.

5.After transforming into Tiyanki planet. All the inorganic pop on the planet will be killed and all the building will be 70%-100% destroyed. The planets will gain 7-10 organic blocker. Those organic blocker will add Exotic Gases deposit to the planet, due to the decomposition of Tiyanki organic matter, but they will also give the planet a happiness debuff modifier. Clearing those organic blocker will remove both the debuff modifier and the gas deposit.

6.Before the Tiyanki core is killed, a portion (like 30%) of the total original pop of the Tiyanki planet will become Tiyanki hybrid zombie army with remnant army civic and Polymelic trait. The total infested planet will be occupied by the zombie army together with some Tiyanki warform (act as the hive brain(s) of the Infested planet) . Empire need to destroy the occupation force to reclaim the planet.

7.After the Tiyanki core is killed, all the Tiyanki organisms on every infested planet will die. But there would be a chance of original pop Tiyanki hybrid monsters sighting event happened in the reclaimed infested planet. After finishing the event, the Empire can either kill them all or gain some original pop with Polymelic trait.

Not every idea is 100% doable or balanced.
I will be very happy if any of my idea will be used in this mod.

Is it better to not let them blow up the planet but do something beneficial like turning planets into ones that can be easily terraformed into Gaia world or make uninhabitable planets habitable? The end result of this crisis is just creating a big no-man zone. Wouldn't it be better to let the survivor benefit from the after-effect of the crisis, like what really happened after the black plague?

would love to see you making some techs to go along with this that you can salvage from researching the weird new tiyanki, it sucks so much that the space fauna weapons only ever get fleshed out in mods but the energy siphon is especially bad

@Spairon It does kinda already do that, it gets more based on how many it has eaten. However, slowing it down after the first push is not a bad idea, so I'll add that and also expand it after the ModJam. Thanks for the feedback as well, appreciate it!

@RegiZero : I totally get it why it is hard to balance. The worst feeling was about doing absolutly nothing to the big one. I bring 40K against 40K and the HP dont moved ... With 60K it work.
With a good preparation and 25 years more, I think I could had deal with it. You can fix this part by increase HP and deacrese a lot the regen (or remove it ?). Harder for high dommages fleets, easier for low one.
It is my second game and the first one I had the economic crisis first (painfull but easy to pass) and then another crisis bug and I have to restart my game (after the creator fix it). Now, I think I know how to deal for pass it.

if you do continue to support this after the modjam (i am enjoying quite a few of these honestly, although some are just awful) i would maybe have this have a big initial push to try and take a planet but have a slow output until it takes a planet, then it starts spewing more out from the ball depending on how many its eaten. Also, it should probably do what the khan does and cave in on itself after so long. Yours is a simple but honestly very effective mod, i quite like it :steamthumbsup:
