This mod is cool and all but He becomes a giant when he gets the griffon lol
Is it suppose to be like that?
Or is it because the pegasus got reskined into a griffon

@Tim the Enchanter, I recommend having Steam verify the integrity of your installed files, or doing a reinstall for the game. Also make sure that your mods are being updated by Steam correctly and that you're not running on any beta branches of WH3

i just tried and the same crash message comes up, no other mods enabled!
the message says:

"the following mod causes a crash to the Database:
gelt_griffon_mount.pack

the first invalid database record is
wh3_default_land_characterswh_main emp_char_balthasar_gelt_4 in
table cdir_military_generator_unit_qualities_tables
and pack file gelt_griffon_mount.pack"

like i said it's the same with all mods that add griffon mounts to characters, like for excample the "griffon mounts for empire captains" mod.
But on the other hand my "demigryphon mounts for E. C. works just fine so i guess it could be tied to the griffons and not the mount function as a whole.

@Tim the Enchanter, I'd recommend launching the game with only this mod enabled to verify if this mod is causing the issue. If you have a complex mod profile you don't want to lose, I'd recommend using a mod manager so you can easily configure your mod manifest on launch

just FYI i just tried again and i still get the same crash message followed by the game shutting down, if you want i can give you a list of my other mods in use just in case there is a potential conflict.

what i find interessting is that all griffon mount mods i use seem to be broken but the "demigryphon mounts for captains" works just fine, maybe that helps with finding the issue.

but even if this is the end i still am thankfull for all the hours of seeing gelt on his eaglemutant thanks to your work! :)

i get a crash when ever i try to use this mod or any other mod that ads new mounts like for excample the "griffon mounts for captains" mod or the balthasar mount V2 mod that is based on this mod here.
it's always almost the same crash report for all the mods that add griffon mounts...

did the latest CA update kill all the mount mods? i used this mod in my last campaing which wasn't even a month ago and it worked just fine...

You've obviously got a mod conflict. You can see from the image Gelt isn't a giant.

mount is in the game but gelt is just as big as the mount so its game breaking. mount expansion gives you an imperial griffon and the scale size is fixed, love this mod but i just cant get past the lord being the size of the griffon.

Maybe it would be worth linking my fireball fix mod? There issue with units on flying horse mounts, I think is there idling theyre actually facing up to the sky, so when you you try use fireball or ruby ring of ruin, it can't actually target anything. So I just ticked them box to fire from the mount instead of the caster and it works fine

Thanks Nox and I'm glad it worked.

I do just need to double check my mods since the update and make sure no values changed. I'll try do that tonight (I've had no time in life my pc still isn't put back together from a lan 10 days ago!)

Thank you, mr O’Neil ill try your mod and hope it fixes it. Its inspiring seeing modders like you fix the oversights and making this amazing game live up to its full potential, so just wanted to say i apriciate your work done on behalf of community (as well as all the modders for that matter).

Hey love the mod, but it seems gelt cant cast fireball (when he gets acess to other lores trough mods in this case ”Legendary lords of Legendary mastery Enchanted”) while on griffon, is it something you could fix up. My thanks in advance and for your time reading this request aswell as mod itself.

@Imminent Is there a likelihood that your Grim Knights of Morr mod will come to Game 3 because I liked the way you differentiated them and the models were pretty sick.

Did extensive testing ( Without any other mods ). The bug occur when you reach level 20 then you don't get the mount but you can allow a skill point in it. If you're allocating a point you're stuck even if you level further. But if you wait level 21 you get the mount automatically.

Could also be because i was defending when i leveled up 20.

Does not work in campaign. I had to spend a point on the mount and even then the mount isn't available.

It shouldn't slim as it doesn't adjust gelts model. There might be an issue if it changes one of the stat tables though

@Nesher666 to be fair if you aren't rocking good artillery with Balty by the time he reaches lvl 20 you're doing Balty wrong.

It would be cool if you also enabled the siege attacker ability for this mount, since AFAIK all griffon mounts are siege attackers, which makes sense if you think about it.
