one thing id love to see as a option is the choice to play as our multiplayer characters with the overhaul this is hands down one of my fav overhauls and if that was added i would absolutely love that

I want to add that I'm moreso talking about my allies so far, as of tsavo highway, I've lost so many marines due to them preferring to jump out in the open with several tangos aiming at them.

I didn't want to say it myself edo, but yeah... I mean I like everything else about it, and they're fun to kill, but holy shiz the AI is not there to handle it (the AI is not good, completely takes you out of it).

Amazing mod, though some weapons like the BR and the pistols except the auto-mag really need a buff, Also I was unable to throw grenades while holding the heatwave is that a bug? But like actually incredible mod theirs so many awesome things its to hard list them all. IMO I love having multiple guns that fill the same role and are slightly different

Halo 3 weapon animations are atrocious and should be swapped out in my opinion, but everything else in this mod including the gibing is amazing.

Whenever i get run over by a prowler i seem to crash, I dont know if its also the case for other vehicles but i crashed twice in a row getting ran over

Played the first couple of levels.

Overall, I like it. The inclusion of Elites and the Reach skirmishers is very very nice. The back-porting of the explosive-fuel-cell tossing from Infinite is a nice touch.

What I'm a lot more ambivalent about is the stuffing of so many different weapons into the sandbox. It's not terrible, but it feels redundant. Generally speaking, good game weapon design has each weapon fulfil different roles with little overlap. Do we really need both the Covenant Carbine and Needle Rifle in the game? Do we need like 3-5 different DMR-ish weapons? Do we need multiple Magnum-adjacent weapons? And so on.

I stress that I like what I've played overall, it does the job of freshening up the campaign for a new playthrough. I just think the weapon sandbox could do with some pruning.

(Also the Needle Rifle feels underpowered compared to what it was in Reach. If we're going to include that, I'd like it to supercombine more easily.)

The weapon rebalance feels good, especially given Halo 3's dismal state, but it feels weird fighting Elites and Brutes since the Great Schism is supposed to be gong on. I don't really like the boss encounters either.

Wait, what? No dual weapons? Dammit. I do love all of these campaign overhauls though.... but the dual weapons was SO neat. You can't have everything I suppose. Well, you CAN sometimes but this appears to not be one of those times.
Still, love all these overhauls.

while I think this mod is a lot of fun with all the new gameplay additions and extras. It does bother me as a lore nut that the elites are on the side of the covenant which has become "anti elites" at this point which Truth has made it clear that there are no elites allowed in his covenant going forward and it strictly became pro only brute. I know it seems fun to play against the elites, but it just bothers me and it isn't consistent with halo 2's storyline.

Enjoyed it as it does breathe some fresh air into one of my all time favorite games; HOWEVER, the damage multipliers should've been dialed back a bit, especially for the vehicle sections. Vehicle combat, particularly against ghosts, in the vanilla game could be ridiculous, but this is downright insane. The drones and shielded grunts also feel a bit tank-y, and for some reason it feels like the mighty battle rifle has been nerfed.

in the beginning of the game, when johnson hops over the log, he just face planted and instantly ragdolled lmao. though, he did get back up instantly without issue, so we good.

I keep saying that placing Elites in the Covenant this morning, since it is true that many hated humanity they all fought on the side of the Swords of Sangheili, since especially the Brutes hated the elites and more than in Halo 2 they betrayed the Elites because I find it strange that you put elites

Tried really hard to enjoy it but it just fucking sucks. The fucking damage tables are ridiculous and most of the time i cant even tell why i died, Never learning what fucking killed me only to fucking repeat one stupid part repeatedly, And all the fun is sucked out of the fighting in so many parts where i would just rather play the normal game. And if anyone says something fucking stupid like youre just bad "usually people who are bad" The only multiplayer i ever play is H2A at the highest MMR while i duo que.
