Loved this! Lots of Hog fun and frantic close quarters action.
Best spot to put this in a play-through would be between Sierra 117 and Crow's Nest.

Ah, seemed like a decent mod, but removing dual-wielding is a deal-breaker for me. Maybe create a version that still has it? I like using extra skulls on legendary to raise the difficulty higher as needed. Dual wielding is like, my absolute favorite thing Q_Q

Awesome little level. I had a ton of fun with the weapon changes and I particularly want to applaud you for changing the absolutely horrendous viewmodel for the Shotgun to something far more fitting. My only issue was the very first fight, it refused to play the script so I got stuck thinking I made a wrong turn for 5 minutes until I jumped up on the little bridge, where it suddenly started it all and I could progress.

Brute Sniper was a cut enemy in Tsavo Highway. I believe it was Brute tracker? It was like a green brute with stalker armor.

The only thing I disagree with is getting rid of duel wielding. It's not a big deal, but I always enjoy the fun that comes with being able to. Everything else is a chefs kiss. All the sandbox changes feel really satisfying and the enemy balance is exquisite. The level design was also amazing, it's cool seeing the reused assets be used in different ways. Title cards and cutscenes added some great flavor. Repurposed dialogue wasn't distracting and fit in amazingly. Another banger of a mod. Fantastic job, my good sir!

@Mr.Widward When you press the Subscribe button, the mod should automatically download. You will be able to select the mod when you click on the Halo 3 campaign. Is there a tutorial on how to install these custom campaigns? I can't find one online and these look super cool. I'm still new to modding, so I have no idea what I'm doing

I really like the rebalances, and the Mauler is an absolute blast to use now. The pistol is also a good one, being powerful but not too OP due to scarce ammo. However, even after gitting gud at your maps and replaying multiple times, the brute chieftain bosses are consistently infuriating to fight in every single playthrough in all of your maps.

They and their helmets are beefy AF, and their insane capacity to instakill you *HEAVILY* punishes aggressive playstyles. I'll magdump several guns into a chieftain, feel like I'm just about to win, make the tiniest mistake, and then instantly die and have all of that progress thrown away. It's annoying once, and genuinely angering after multiple times. They're not fun to fight, to which some comments below agree.

Last thought, the AR is a little too OP. I use it the most out of any weapon for its range and power against brute shields, which detracts from all the other weapons for me. Otherwise, everything else is breddy gud.

Played Coop Legendary, and I must say this is a VERY solid campaign. The design of each encounter (in terms of both level design and enemy placement) was very well thought-out and the modifications to all Weapons and Enemies made this feel very refreshing to play.

If I were to name any issues I had, I felt there were just a few too many cheap spots where you could easily re-charge your shields and respawn your teammate under zero threat, but other than that I couldn't really name any problems.

The area after you rescue Johnson is ridiculous. A Hunter pair, a dozen brutes with half of them wielding AOE brute shots with a Fuel Rod Chieftain?

You actually have enough ammo laying around that would allow me to pick them off, except after receiving a bit of damage the brutes all retreat into the building behind them. So if you can kill off the grunts and run past the hunters into the building, you now have to fight brutes with AOE weapons in CQB.

Played it on Legendary because the weapon changes made it a bit easier than usual ( AR especially). Nothing wrong with the weapon balancing, but the ridiculous difficulty spike at the end made me give up. I think Johnson was supposed to help, he said "i got your back), but he ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ never showed up.

Excellent mod. Great level design, more unique and balanced, new levels of challenging enemies and creative use of cutscenes :) all in all a great mission.

Updates to MCC break all mods because of the way the Halo Engines work unfortunately. The mod has been updated, and should now work again.

@Samsquatch the blam engine works differently than you'd expect. To put it simply, most of the game data is in every single map file individually, so you can make gameplay changes from minor to major that only apply to a single map. This is how you get little things like the Spartan Laser having infinite ammo in the final level. :rockon:

I had a lot of fun playing this mission, it was a difficult in some parts and a challenge in others.
I liked the new weapon balancing made me think on my feet to deal with the enemy at hand.
I would like to see more from you in the future, even a custom campaign ;)

- Very challenging (Chieftains especially), but overall very fun.
- Recolors suit H3 perfectly. Other mods typically go for sickly neon Red brute armors and such, but this one goes for pastel-maroon Captains, sage green brute snipers, etc etc
- Weapon rebalances allow Spiker, Magnum, and Plasma Rifles in particular to shine

I played this when it was on NexusMods, in fact it was one of the only mods I ever actually played, I didn't like the legacy method of replacing maps to play it. Thankfully it's here now whenever I want to reminisce on such a nice challenging map. It's even pretty hard on Normal! :launchpad:
