Report a translation problem
I probably won't bother translate it into Chinese or Romanised Taiwanese, but yeah sure go ahead, just remember to mention where the material came from originally.
(Just in case you don’t understand Mandarin and Hokkian, I said “may I use your mod content in my mod?” And “hope you can add Mandarin and Hokkian version to this mod”)
很高興看到史實的閩文化人物名稱是使用台羅
I still have the same issue, can something maybe be done about it?
After testing the mod, I found that the mod adds a lot of new pops to the formosa, but the amount of arable land remains the same.
This will lead to a large number of unemployed pop at the beginning, who can't even become Peasants because there's no arable land. And their standard of living is at a starvation level, which cause massive deaths and emigration.
Considering that Formosa was in fact the destination of many Min migrants at the time, this obviously does not make much sense.
I think the amount of arable land should be raised to over 900 to be more reasonable.
Tho for the state thing, I do agree it should stay one state, it could just become a "split state" like some state in south america are just partially held by "civilized" power.
And for agriculture don't worry, I thought you were talking about the maximum values, not the starting values ^^
And, I don't know if I really wanna go as far as making new states in Formosa, considering what they did with Japan, I thought it is actually quite fair Formosa is just a one whole state. Having a decentralized aboriginal nation would be interesting, I will give a thought, could be too challenging for game play.
And I don't know what you mean when it comes to the agriculture. The vanilla version reflects neither the historical nor potential agricultural production in the period. Just bad historical research on Paradox part.
- it needs a tag for the Republic of Formosa (happened just after shimonoseki)
- Half of the island needs to be handed back to aboriginals in the mountains and eastern side of the island. Both left untouched at least up to the japanese administration of the island. (so maybe split it in two different provinces -> also the island on the right of Formosa makes no sense to belong the Qing empire), or make it a split states with Qing/aboriginals nations.
- Remember that the max number of agricultural ressources isn't to reflect what was actually producing by the state, but it's potential (not sure if it was the starting industry or max you were referring) wether it has been used or not
