what gives, why not just put it on one of the sides of the world in the open
the little box with the biome chests
why is that marked as the dungeon?
Have you thrown some of the marble into the shimmer? It turns into granite. Granite in the cavern (maybe underground, too) layer spawns granite elementals. Granite elementals give more granite when you kill them. This is a very easy start for a skyblock map.
I'm not sure if this map provides you with resources to create a crafting table right away since I haven't actually played this map yet, but assuming it doesn't you can disassemble potions in shimmer to get sand, then use that sand to grow cactus. Cactus can be turned into a crafting table.
I can't fish without bait. I can't plant mushroom grass seeds without mud. Marble is completely useless. There's no NPCs and nowhere for mobs to spawn. If you fall off the island, you just keep falling until you die, there isn't even a single block down there. And there's no materials to craft with whatsoever. I could try throwing random stuff in the shimmer, but that's just as likely to get me softlocked.
This goes way beyond "isn't meant to be easy". "Very difficult is winning the Nobel Prize. Impossible is eating the sun".
in game it follows this process
Workshop > Import Worlds > (Find the World You're Looking For) > Import > (Name the World)
