If your bolts are not doing damage, I found a solution. Damage is based on speed and weight of the bolt. Go here:

E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\261550\2888071415\ModuleData\Items

1. Open OpCrossBowDesc in Wordpad.
2. Look for item ID and it will tell you which item stats you are looking at (SA bolt or hi or explosive). You will see Weight = 0.0001. This is too low and will not do damage. Change it to 0.01 or something. Do it for the other bolt types if you want. Go crazy.

Also, if you drop the Crossbow with G and pick it back up with, it will shoot straight. Go figure!

Void Rats use console alt and ~ then type Config.cheat_mode 1, open inventory you should get a list of all item on the left scroll down till you find the crossbow section and grab it from there also make sure you grab the semi auto bolts aswell, then open console again and type Config.cheat_mode 0 to diable the cheats

searched for 2 in game years cannot find the semtiauto bolt

switching weapon from crossbow to what ever else you have equipped crashes the game

for me it shoots backwards

So there is a slight problem. When u try to swap from the crossbow where it will just crash the game.

RBM uses formulas to determine the speed at which projectiles (bolts, arrows, etc) which formula depends on the item_usage, unfortunately changing that on the mod weapon will probably ruin its function. You can edit the formula in RBM using DNSpy, just use Better Exception Window to attach it to the program, look for calculateMissleSpeed in RBMCombat.dll. I didn't bother trying to add the item_usage, I just changed the formula for ones that might be unrecognized.

Ok If you've tried to get the Semi Auto Crossbow and you can't find it and Frustrated Don't fret my friends, Just do these few simple steps:

1) have the mod enabled before you log into the game.

2) when your on your Campaign map Press Alt + ` ( ` is the button under the Esc Key )

3) This should open your Console Bar then Type config.cheat_mode 1 this should enable cheat mode, Then if you open you inventory you should be able to see ALL the items in the Game which you can take 10 of each Item, Scroll down until you see the Semi Auto Crossbow and there also seem to be different types of Semi Auto Bolts, Semi Auto Bolts High Impact and Semi Auto Bolts Explosive.

4) Lastly once you have gotten all you need Just Type config.cheat_mode 0 To disable cheat mode.

ok i quit this mod waste of time i guess i went to dam near every town in game and didint see it once hopefully if this mods still gets updates they can just make like 5 crossbows and bolts spawn in poros or somewhere or a for sure way to get the set cuz i just wasted like an hour or two just going city too city looking for a bow that supposedly spawns often and have yet to see a single one of either the things i wanted

is it any crossbow or am i supposed to find the semi auto from cities iv been to like 15 cities and havent seen a semi auto but i have seen a light crossbow dam near everytime ima buy that to see if it works if not idk wher to find the dam thing in game

It works on v1.15, it do crush the game sometimes, and i do notice some npc try to use the semi auto crossbow, maybe it's just like what he said on FAQ "if you equip only the "semi auto bolts" on them the game crashes, so make sure to equip both items or none" maybe we can change the settings to let npc can not obtain this crossbow and bolts(i don't know how to do that). it might solve the problem.

, right click on the xml file and open with notepad scroll down to where your at name:semi auto bolt and below it you will see a category for weight change it to 0.01 or just whatever you want under 0.05 (gives 150 weight for the bolt) then file and save and your good it will decrease the weight for the bolt

Question for Lordlegion, how do you change the weight and all?

it works make sure to change the weight to 0.01 (gives 3 weight) instead of 0.05 or you will get 150 carry weight on the "bolt" for the crossbow
