@Amiiro93 I had the same issue a couple of hours ago. I checked the mod list and I had this mod above my B.A.R.D. mods. The units appeared in the encyclopedia but I couldn't find where to recruit them. When I moved this mod below the B.A.R.D. mods the units became options for my recruits to level in to. The only thing was previously recruited units still cannot level into new units from this mod but newly recruited units should be able going forward.

@Amiiro93, you should be able to go to any Aserai settlement and recruit. The new troops branch off the existing t1 units. Except for the new noble line troops, which branch from the noble line (Aserai Youth). See screenshots in the description.

UPDATE: Javelin and Hashashin units now group with melee troops by default instead of ranged. Thanks @StuKa and @Truwan for the suggestion

which let's you use the old system of organizing units where you assign units specific groups before the battle.

Unfortunately the new system makes it pretty much worthless to try to use the javelineers without one or both of these solutions since the newer grouping system can't separate them from archers.

You can pretty easily change the javs to melee units, I have the same complaint and this seems to have fixed it:
Navigate to mod folder steamapps\workshop\content\261550\2887096699\ModuleData

Edit the file 'spnpccharacters.xml', and just find and replace all instances of 'Ranged' and change them to 'Infantry'.

Some of the most fun I've had with a mod for Bannerlord. I would recommend this mod, it's balanced and fun - though I wish the Javs and Knive throwers weren't considered "ranged" troops, it still adds fun and balanced variety to the most underwhelming faction

suggestion, if possible to add party mov. speed in desert for party with camel units due to them being accustomased to desert and send compared to horses .. so even non aserai faction wouldn´t be so hopeless in desert territory

Hey all! I will be updating this mod shortly for official compatibility with the current version of Bannerlord. In the meantime, there is an easy fix as others have pointed out. Thank you Czaritsa, Dolmio, Warpigs and everyone else who figured this out while I was away. Copy-pasted from another comment:

Follow these steps:

-Search your computer for a folder called 2887096699.
-(That's this mod's folder.)
-Open "ModuleData" folder.
-R-click on "items.xml" - make a copy of the file, and paste in same folder. (In case you make a mistake.)
-Now, open items.xml with Notepad ++ or Notepad. (Notepad ++ is a free download, google it.)
-Inside the file,
-Control + F to find every instance of <Flags />
-Delete each of these lines.
-Save.

Make sure to do this for the Camel Saddle mod too.
-Same steps,
-Folder is called 2883073515.

anyone have a patch fro this mod? Every time I load this mod up it crashes the game and says there is an error with a flag thing. I know it's this mod because I went through all of my mods and this one was the one that caused the crash

Hello. I don't know if this happens to anyone else but when I run this mod, the aserai faction looses all their wars. I have started 3 campaigns already and even before the quest to rescue the brother triggers, the aserai have already lost two to three towns. I have been investigating why this happens and I think that there is an issue where the aserai nobles won't improve their soldiers. If anyone knows how to fix it, please answer because I want to play with the aserai but i can't if they keep loosing all of their wars. Thanks

Dr.Macari , Commy...my fix works with 1.1, if you want to start a game with these mods. It takes all of 5 minutes to delete a few lines of text.

Please update my friend. I want to do a camping with the Aserai for a long time and I will wait for all your mods, they are really great.

I would be so happy if you made a Mod where the Camels Speak Human Language like the lords do when they shout Charge, man having an army of Camels yelling charge while they are Galloping towards you full speed with a crazy look on their FACE, this would make me use camels again!! Hey, just wanna let you know, this mod is causing a CTD startup crash. I am getting an "Items" xml file issue.
Line 375, "flags" child element. The source points to your module.
This is due to the v1.1 update as of 01Mar23

There are some that come to mind:

black kefiyyeh (I love this one)
blue kefiyyeh (I don't like this one much, but maybe it would fit)
closed pointed scullcap
tight headscarf
loose wrapped southern nasal helmet (Is this one vanilla? I don't know, sorry)

And there are some others whose names I don't have now, but I'm sure you'll find some that fit the astetics of your assassins. :)

with all due respect to your work you've put in here, but the HASHASHIN headgear doesn't look very aserai. There are good looking closed headgear for aserai assassins. (With and without helmet) And the mod "Open Source Armory" adds a set of very stylish assassin headgear and helmets. Maybe you might consider them instead of this thug headgear?

(Please do not take my words as an insult, but as constructive criticism. I really love your mods and use them extensively)
