Swapping nations disabled achievements, though.

@General Melchett that's not true. I play with mods and Iron Man disabled and I still get achievements.

Is this mod compatible with 1648's mod??

@SquarelyCircle Are you trying to earn the achievement? is so, you have to play Ironman with no mods.

Functional it works, however some countries are too broken to play. Only way I see is to rebuild almost everything. Other issue: EU nations don't seem to colonize anymore?

For the "Go West, Young Man" achievement, does the shattered earth mod have a USA to start as? I'm seeing free states of america, but no united states.

Bug: Every settlement west of new york in the FSA just is not there, nor are there any urban buildings.

Could you release Aragon as an independent state with control of Valencia?

Some released countries (e.x. Ireland) dont have administration buildings what cause -100% tax waste at the start which makes them unpleyable. They have no profits except of minting.
Also it seems incorrect that Ireland start with Poor law enacted.

I've never had issues with this mod, It's the other shattered world mod that crashes frequently.

@EyeRuvDumprings How are you lacking Migration in America? They have so much arable land that you should be drowning in migration with decent SOL if you have ok laws. Heck as Morocco I more than doubled my population in 50 years (and I had arable land issues).

YR, maybe you don't understand. There are currently TWO ways people migrate in this game. One of them is "trickling" migration, where people decide to just move from one place to another. This form of migration can ONLY happen within a market. IE, someone from Russia, cannot migrate to the USA in this manner. The other form is through migration waves. This is an event, and takes into consideration things like standard of living, devastation, radicalization, general pop happiness. This can happen to anyone with more than 40 arable land in a province.

In short, "trickling" migration being locked behind markets, is one of the most idiotic things Paradox has ever done in one of their games, and I've been playing and modding them going back to 2001 :)

@EyeRuvDumprings, migration is triggerd by migration control law as well as the living standard , the better the living standard the more ppl will migrate to the region.

Huge problem with this is migration. The way PDX did migration in this is, it only happens in two ways. Migration trickle, which only happens within a market, and then migration wave events.

So, unfortunately, the majority of migration in the game simply doesn't happen without large markets forming, and that takes a long time if you're not playing a big power.

I pretty much makes playing in the Americas a no go due to the lack of migration.

regarding the errors maybe taking a look at the 00_states.txt in common history helps. I think my error log shown 2-3 lines that may cause issues in the file. I need to test it and also make sure it is form this mod as i tend to play with lots of mods on, so i can't be sending you any error logs.

I just have started two campaigns, and both are getting ctd on some point. Don't know where to find the crash error report and which one to paste here. Can you tell me what should give to you?

I'm planning on doing so in the near future.
As of now, most countries copy the laws from their original nation or a similar existing one.

They joined the union as a free state, and split from mexico without slavery. It seems pretty strange to adopt slavery

@arkaethen why would california not start with slavery if it were an independent nation in 1836

Is it possible to change some of the starting policies? It's kinda wack that cali starts with slavery
