a bit late but I uploaded the fix

the mod is no longer compatible with game versions older than 0.29.0, you'll need to rename mod_old.rules into mod.rules in the mod folder to make it compatible

the error is caused by the last game hotfix, the game version number changed and the mod.rules is used by default instead of the mod_2.rules that is the fix to use after the sound update

renaming mod_2.rules to mod.rules is an easy way to fix it, but that'll cause incompatibility if you try to use the mod with an old game version

i'll reupload the mod tomorrow (in ~10hours), hopefully with a permanent fix

Ah, renaming mod_2.rules to mod.rules worked for me as well. Looks like a rename and reupload is in order xD <3

Also, your fix also fixed Turbo Speed. Ay, these new sounds are going to take some getting used to...

Same DecreaseToSound crash here! It looks like other game speed mods were also affected by this -- Turbo Speed gives a very similar crash error (missing DecreaseToSound). Tried unsubbing/restarting/resubbing

it worked yesterday, now the same error pholostan mentioned

I renamed mod_2.rules to mod.rules (renamed the old file) and now the game starts.

I released the fix, it should still be compatible with older game versions, let me know if it's not the case

I confirm there is a crash caused by this mod with the game update 0.30.1, expect a fixed version soon

Mod causes a game crash. When turned off, everything works just fine.

Add a dropdown to go directly to the desired speed and also add an input box for typing in a speed

Works fine buts adds too many, as now you got click more to get to speed you want, would been better if it only added 12x and 16x

The game run at 30 ticks per second, so the 1/30 speed correspond to 1 tick/second, 1/15 is 2ticks/second and 1/10 is 3ticks/second
Also when I created the first version of this mod, the slowest vanilla game speed was 1/4, and it wasn't weird imo since I also added 1/5 and 1/3 speeds
For the faster speeds, I just took the inverse, and stopped at 15x since the game lag too much at faster speeds

Umm. I was wondering why the time choices were not following the 2^n and 1/2^n specs the dev is employing. seems a bit odd to jump from factors of 2 to 1/10 and 1/5 and 10 and 5

A lot of people are also asking for a drop down menu to chose your speeds, but unfortunately, this isn't possible at the moment (it might be once the game support c# modding)

Since a lot of people are asking if I can add and/or remove speeds, I made a guide that tell you how to modify the mod to add and/or remove speeds, I did my best to make it understandable for those that don't have any modding experience

It would be cool if you could right click the speed at the top and get a drop down with all the different possible speeds and then just un-check the ones you don't want so there are less to step through normally but if I want to enjoy a slow paced crazy battle I can enable the slower speeds again.

Thanks so much for this, it should be in default game!

I'd love to have some way to add/remove options, like 3/4 isn't something I care for, and stepping through it is a tiny bit annoying. Otherwise, this is amazing!

If you are in game an open the mod windows, there you can right click any mod to open its folder.

Where is the mod's folder? It doesn't seem to be in with the standard mods.

If you're like me and only like to use 1x and 15x speeds.

Find the mod's folder and modify the mod.rules file inside. Remove the speeds between 1x and 15x.

This way you will find that when you open the game and switch speeds, the annoying speeds in between are gone.

If it's not too much effort do you mind adding x6 and x12 speeds? The jumps from 5 to 8 and 10 to 15 are a bit steep imo.

sorry, but hotkeys for specific time/settings don't exist and aren't modable at the moment
