Very late, sorry, but I can reply now!
In general they're enhanced & "fixed" as much as possible to be nice to use, just like how I did with the Super Mario stuff
Tari got an even bigger overhaul after this addon as I remodeled her, but I have yet to release that
Looking at the screenshots, Tari got a new physics mesh and shroomy uses a cleaned up texture that was left in the original files, + a lot of improvements inspired by current day Glitch models, but that's just a fraction of it & it's also more than a year old lol, in general I put a crap ton of polish in those :D

Sorry, what’s different with these models, besides Saiko? Am I just dumb, cause I don’t see the difference.

the big mario models are the proper models, because if you use models like Bob's he's gonna be significantly taller

It's only inconsistent cause SMG4 uses the Big Mario models, regarding your old poopy Mario models

One thing that wasn't specified, at least in the description of this add-on, is that Weegeepie made these for his own personal use. He just decided to upload them to his workshop and make them public. That's why the sizes have been increased in the first place. They're personal changes, because these are personal versions of the models he intends on using for his own videos. Not SMG4's own videos. It's also why he won't do the same for Belle and Kaizo. He doesn't intend on using them.
