the spacer rifles are intended to be a partial compromise on long range for close range firepower.

Is there a particular reason the industrial rifles have better sight efficiency at higher quality than the spacer rifles? I haven't done the math yet so I'm not sure how much it affects accuracy, but I was just curious. An excellent Anzio has like 500% sight efficiency while the Rimworlder at legendary quality only has 280%

I'm addicted to Kord 6P50 (a .50BMG man-portable MG from CE Armory). 50BMG-APHE doesn't pierce power armor. I need a 40mm man-portable machine gun.

in the lore document the warp drive just transfers momentum to distant stellar objects, so if you just do that but on a much smaller scale you have an intangible tripod

It's great for centipedes if you have more gun, if one gun can't kill it then you don"t have enough gun.

They're not great for centipedes, but they'll kill turrets well enough with HE. Along with anything smaller than a centipede that's not packing a shield.
