Config file corrupted error is "normal" for steam workshop!!!!

I try to fix War Horn update, with AI. If I can't fix that, I will remove the war horn uptade for stable gameplay.

Ladies and gentlemen, despite loading my War Cry mod into a save file from a year ago, it still functions correctly and smoothly. The only issue arises in certain cases related to sound, which stems from my War Horn update where I added custom sound files. However, this problem is caused by the game itself, not the mod, as I implemented the update using the official tutorials and codes provided by TaleWorlds.
Even though I don’t have access to the source code, I will now manually revert each of these changes from memory, ensuring that there will be no remaining sound issues. The "config file corrupted" message at the start of the game is not an error. This message only matters if you want to change the default "V" key or remap it in the controls section.

To fix this issue, simply cut the mod file from your Steam Workshop directory and paste it into the "MODULES" folder inside the game. If you want to change the default key binding, you need to edit the config file inside the mod. The number 47 in the config file corresponds to the "V" key. You can replace this 47 with the number matching your preferred key from the list inside the config file.
Apart from sound-related issues, there is absolutely no problem with the mod! Instead of stubbornly reporting crashes, check your other mods first!

restarting the game doesn't solve the voice problem, the chracter continues to stay silent for whatever command you do on battles, the only voice you have is the game vanilla battle cries and hurt noises, saddly i don't have enough level to test if the warcry itself works

I can't fix " creation menu" crash. You can disabled the mod, and create your character, and back activate the mod. Restart your game for "Breaking Voices" problem. I can't fix that because TaleWorlds have a BADDDDD MOD SUPPORT!!!!!!!!!! All the sound adding commands they share are problematic. Please read all comments.

yep, the mod is breaking voices, and even crashing the game when i press to sample the voice pitch on the creation menu

Mod support is bad for this game. There is a problem with the codes they give to add sound. Your error should be fixed by closing and reopening the game.

Not exactly sure its this mod but my character voice is gone when commanding troop or cheering? It only seemed to happen after this mod

can you redo the old config textfile? with all options to customize? was really good that time, nowaday we cant change anything... frustating

Even though Taleworlds says it offers mod support, it follows a ridiculous way of adding new sounds, so there may be sound-related bugs in the mods that use this way. I don't have the source file for the mod at the moment. That's why I can't restore it.

Since the system the game uses to add sound is full of bugs, if you do not hear any commands, war cry or war horn sounds, it will be fixed when you close and reopen the game.

Works on 12.10, but the characters all mute. When you give orders, there is no sound, and units in general make no sound

tried it without any other mods, crashes on startup because of config file and custom info being corrupted

The game crashing has nothing to do with the config file. The config file arrives incorrectly for anyone using Steam. The only reason I put the config file system is so that the player can change the controller or keyboard key as he wishes. To prevent the game from crashing, you need to try the mod by moving it to the top of the launcher screen and disabling other mods.

Whenever I try the mod it says the config file is corrupted and crashes my game. Anything I can do to fix this or best bet is wait for update ?

All voice audio is broken, if you try to sample voice in character creator it crashes, war cry makes no sound, commands make no sound, no cheering after a battle. The last update broke somethin

Dude, don't read other comments and keep writing the same thing. Close the game and reopen it and it will fix it. There is a bug regarding the sounds of the game.

Im only getting the war horn when pressing V, how do I get the war cry?
