@Andrzej Kuna got pushed back because of some still on going crises. I will work on it when able.

How's that update coming along? Could really use this mod and doing it myself does not seem to work

@redraven313 (DK) this is a known issue with the new origins mods. I would have updated sooner but my PC went kaput the day of first contact's release and I just got her replacement in. Expect an update within this month.

After searching for an hour I found it was this mod that conflicted with first contact's new origins.
Would be happy if someone else can confirm it.

You're welcome, and thank you. Stole it from Sam O'Nella.

Thank you for helping me with that. I hope it works great for you.

Yep, that seems to have solved the issue as far as I can see. Excellent, look forward to playing with this mod! :)

I redid all the files again, it should work this time.
RouxAroo  [author] Oct 2, 2022 @ 11:47pm
I have no idea how it's doing that, I literally redid the mod and copied the files directly from the Stellaris folder. I'll try again and see if I can make it work.

The previous issues are unfortunately still present for me - there's still a display issue for some ethics (authoritarian has one too), their effects are different, and the spiritualist faction has only 1 issue (homogeneity)

More generally, not only does the ethics file appear to use non-vanilla values for all ethics (presumably from the ethics & civics mod), but I checked the 00_origins file and it makes reference to non-vanilla civics like civic_bugged_evolutionary_architects, so I'd guess the entire mod is still the bug branch version.

Updated.

Yeah it looks like I fucked up. Updating it now. Thanks for the catch.
TheTeaMustFlow Oct 1, 2022 @ 3:28pm
On closer inspection, the 00_ethics files for this mod and the bug branch version appear to be exactly the same, so it looks like you uploaded that version instead of the vanilla version.
TheTeaMustFlow Oct 1, 2022 @ 3:19pm
Looking at the 00_ethics file... it appears to make a bunch of other undocumented changes? Like, it changes what a bunch of the base ethic effects are - not just for spiritualists, but for unrelated ethics too. Maybe you based this off an old or modded version of the game or something?
TheTeaMustFlow Oct 1, 2022 @ 3:07pm
Found several bugs:

Firstly, the spiritualist ethic description now says "ETHIC_MORE_ATTRACTIVE": https://imgur.com/bvprQRw

Secondly, no issues apart from Homogeneity appear to be triggering for the spiritualist faction: https://imgur.com/FFHajo3

(Double checked with no other mods active)
