Kenshi Load Order Organizer

@Lio this does not sort the mod for you. This mod adds nothing to the game, but it appears during the mod manager so you can sort your mods properly.

For example in the mod manager

[1] Mod Organizer [UI, grfx, performance] = AKA this mod
UI Mod number 1
UI Mod number 2
Graphics Mod
Performance Mod
[2] Mod Organizer [ Animation] = AKA this mod
Ultimate Animation Overhaul
More animation mod
Etc animation mod
[3] Mod org races = AKA this mod
RPG races
Cat girl races
demon girl races
etc. races

And so on.
LioTheManlyBadAssHero Aug 19 @ 7:18am
(AKA this mod)
LioTheManlyBadAssHero Aug 19 @ 7:18am
also, where to put the Kenshi Load Order Organizer mod itself at?
LioTheManlyBadAssHero Aug 19 @ 7:17am
Okay okay, can u put a pin for it in the discription for if ppl also ask about it?
SalmonPunk (LEGACY)  [author] Aug 19 @ 5:50am
top is 1, bottom is 11
LioTheManlyBadAssHero Aug 18 @ 11:15am
like, should it (Top to bottom) go from 1 to 11 or 11 to 1?
LioTheManlyBadAssHero Aug 18 @ 11:14am
question, do i need the 1st mod on top or the bottom of the list? (I.E what order should these mods be in inside the organizer)
Eyeless Deceiver Jun 15 @ 9:39am
Just came back to say that with Millerscouts old Mod Manager for visual reference on the back ground, these categories really help. Thanks!
Eyeless Deceiver Jun 15 @ 8:17am
Now, to put the effort we all do and the way Slamon helped with this together, in this: https://www.reddit.com/r/Kenshi/comments/1ehtrjb/i_created_an_automatic_mod_organizer and we are golden.
Quifra May 30 @ 10:38am
@slay_it, so you did what OP mentioned? You unchecked the mods, load it, load ops mods, then sorted the mods in the categories right?
I have like 300 mods, and im sure some work and some dont and i really need to optimize it
Aura Farmer May 20 @ 2:47am
this is scam
Slay_it May 17 @ 11:13pm
nvm, i thought it gives mod a tag so you can sort them, but it makes categories so you can sort them better, after 4 hours of sorting 500 mods its all good now.
SalmonPunk (LEGACY)  [author] May 17 @ 4:18am
@Slay_it no youre not XD
Slay_it May 15 @ 8:42am
need a video guide, im too dumb for this
Васька Хроник Apr 29 @ 10:10am
@Ray Misuto thank you!
I use the Mod manager and doubted whether it was necessary to download it all ..:steamhappy:.
SalmonPunk (LEGACY)  [author] Apr 20 @ 7:33pm

@Bl4ckD3ad06 it goes underr no.7 - [Armor and Weapons]
Bl4ckD3ad06 Apr 6 @ 8:01am
where do limbs mods fit? in armor?
SalmonPunk (LEGACY)  [author] Feb 16 @ 5:52am
@ranger depends, if it change a whole lot of base game, it goes to number 8 afaik
Ray Misuto Jan 17 @ 11:16am
This is not a mod but a separator and cheat sheet.

Its not to sort your mods for you, its to server as a visual bar to brake up the wall of words that the mod list is by default, into category's, and notes in the bars descriptions to tell you what order to put the mods in each category to keep them from rewriting each other in the wrong order.

You have to move them up and down yourself, ether thru the mod.cfg file in your games data folder, or using the mod sorter at the start up window of the game.
Ranger Jan 16 @ 10:00am
Dumb question: where do dialogue mods fit?
88jaybird Jan 15 @ 8:00am
i have no idea how i am supposed to use this? i add these mods to my existing mods, thats it? or i have to go into my game files and re arrange files??, it says place mods manually according to guide above, i see no guide. this mod is confusing as hell.
Serentyl Jan 8 @ 7:55pm
How Do i open it?
SalmonPunk (LEGACY)  [author] Dec 5, 2024 @ 12:20am
@FluffnTough thanks a lot man!
FluffnTough Nov 29, 2024 @ 6:45pm
This is pretty sick. Wish we had a proper mod manager/organizer but this definitely helps. 10/10 would correct load order again.
SalmonPunk (LEGACY)  [author] Oct 25, 2024 @ 9:01pm
@Alan that yellow means something is missing form your afformention mod that you installed in your game, you need to search for it, or edit yourself on the FCS
AlanC Oct 18, 2024 @ 4:31am
If the MOD list displays black fonts and no yellow fonts when opening the MOD list, do I still need to adjust the order of MODs?
SalmonPunk (LEGACY)  [author] Sep 25, 2024 @ 11:41pm
@HowHigh your welcome!
HowHigh Sep 24, 2024 @ 6:39am

SalmonPunk (LEGACY)  [author] Sep 24, 2024 @ 3:15am

SalmonPunk (LEGACY)  [author] Jul 31, 2024 @ 7:52pm
@Damaskox when you subscribe to this mod and start Kenshi, it will come checked in the mod selection, i suggest you subscribe to KLOO One Stop Shop on this mod description
Damaskox Jul 31, 2024 @ 5:15am
"Activate KLOO before starting your game -"
How do you activate KLOO?
SalmonPunk (LEGACY)  [author] Jul 18, 2024 @ 9:56pm
thanks Baka, i appriciate it! ngl ive always want something like automatic mod for so long!

i've tired of waiting so in order to make modding this game a little bit easier i made this mod
[❀] Sussy Baka~♥ Jul 18, 2024 @ 7:27am
Also thanks for the Organizer, Goblin, really helping me out here

(I didn't know these things existed so the last time I had mods, so I manually moved them around back then.)
[❀] Sussy Baka~♥ Jul 18, 2024 @ 7:26am
Then after that, I search the name of a Mod which has had or is currently having issues with compatibility with other mods. Other stuff like Import Requirement and the Lack of Load Order Guidelines aren't really that important since I would be starting a new game and I've also just organized my Mods List.

After that, I would be doing what I just said Below this Comment (supposed to be above but no space) This Section of Text and then keep the New Notepad I used to organize my Mod List, just in case, then pasting it onto the Original Mods.cfg File WITH NOTEPAD and then saving, After that.

That's it, I'm done, I will then play Kenshi for hundreds of hours then get tired, then get curious again then search through the Workshop again, then Organize Again then badabing badaboom the Cycle Continues until Kenshi 2.

Basically

Follow this: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Kenshi\data

Open the Mods.cfg file WITH Notepad, Copy all of it and Paste onto a new Notepad File so you can Organize it USING the Mod Organizers in this Mod, Aka KLOO

After Editing it all in the correct order, Do: Ctrl + S , to save your files. Do check again just in case.

Follow this guide here to know what stuff you're adding...
---------------------
oh btw

How I would do stuff like this is first I read the description of every single mod I've subscribed to just in case they're saying anything important, Patches in the Comments Sections, New Versions in the Comment Section, Required Mods.

Also, if you are unwilling to take the time to read the link he posted: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1850250979

You deserve to be sad and unhappy.
hardbrocklife May 3, 2024 @ 7:41am
What this does is add fake "mods" that are actually load order headings, listed 1-11. You place them in order in the mods menu at the Kenshi launch tool. Click Ok. Exit Kenshi once you get the main screen.

Go to mods.cfg in the kenshi folder by exploring local files from steam. When you open the mods.cfg file you will see your heads. 1, 2, 3, etc...Cut and paste your mods under the specific headings. Combat animations get pasted below the Animations section.

This simple adds place holder mods for ordering your mods in the CFG or can he used from the Kenshi launcher mods section.
