the recruitment pool for this game is busted, the only way to fix this would be to make a technology to turn the mailed Huskarl back into the Royal Thegn

The research tree has them as a research stage, but they never appear in the recruitment pool.

If you are referring to the Tech Error, in which the royal Huskarls disappeared, that has been fixed.
I changed it so the Mailed Huskarl, a shield unit meant to replace the royal thegn, is in its own unit tree separate from the Royal Thegn Tree.
