Back to this mod again (sorry for off but related topic), folks:
THIS LOVELY MOD WORKS WITH 5.0.3 <3

If you can't get enough from mammoths and/or use one of zerg93's COMPILATION mods (there are 2 volumes) read the comments underneath for a link to a mammoth compilation mod which includes this one <3

@zerg93 I still don't have any useful/meaningful information on what exactly plays a role in this (otherwise I'd shared it with you) but I noticed that when running 200+ compatible "5.0 ready" mods and then adding your compilation mods on top, the game will stop starting.

I mention this because in the same situation with 4.2 the game started without problems, I tried and I just can't achieve quite the same easy-going compatibility with the large comp mods ever since we're on 5.0.... I know this is not very helpful in having a look at that problem, but as it's related (Mammoths mod) let me share this info with you today <3

The only thing I've found is that the exact same is true for @Trajann's 2 large compilation mods (Khorne compilation / Other Gods compilation). As soon as I have smth tangible to look at, I'll let you know! Much love from Berlin, @zerg93 <3

As @The King Of All Things Bacon was too shy to place it, here's a link to his "Mammoths" mod which conveniently combines this mod here and other mammoth mods on the Workshop in one mod: https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=3243507897

I would however advise caution to use that mod if you also want to use Zerg's compilation mods Vol.1 and/or Vol.2... Hope that helps folks <3

Sure thing!
You have my permission.

Hey hey dude. I wanted to make a mod that compiles most of the warhammer 3 mammoth mod including yours. It meant to be for myself and my buddies but if all the authors agree, I would make it public for community to enjoy. Of course the links and mentions would be there. Cheers

Due to possible technical issues with RPFM not handling well regular updates with a huge mod pack and the concrete possibility of Steam not handling well said updates (Steam not downloading properly mod updates is more common than you think) an all in one mod is currently not planned.
I went for the volume formula instead, there are currently two volumes available:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2857626194 Volume I
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3152347380 Volume II
I may attempt to merge all of the volumes and make an all in one mod towards the end of Warhammer 3's life cycle and/or when I will be done with Warhammer 3 modding but I'm not 100% sure.

I love your mods! Great unit additions. Would you consider making a mod that includes them all in one?
zerg93  [ophavsmand] 7. juli 2023 kl. 4:03
Jul 7 Update:
-Removed WoC version of this unit from the Warband system
-Added the new Local Recruitment mod for WoC as new mod requirement (optional, only needed for recruiting this custom unit with WoC in campaign)

Sorry for the possible trouble generated by this update but I'll rather have my custom WoC units recruited with this method instead of cluttering the vanilla Warband System.
zerg93  [ophavsmand] 27. juni 2023 kl. 10:10
Ok, after my investigation I can confirm that there was in fact a problem with recruiting this unit in campaign.
I fixed the issue by adding the unit to the Warband system: you'll find the unit in the Undivided Gorebeast Chariot upgrade section.
This will probably cause some discontent with people who were already suffering from a cluttered Warband Ui, but I don't have much of a choice here.
Do note that for some reason the upgraded unit will spawn with only minimal HP and will need a few turns to fully recover, no idea why.
zerg93  [ophavsmand] 27. juni 2023 kl. 2:38
Definitely odd.
They are part of the same group faction (WOC) so you should be able to recruit them with Archaon too.
I'll need to investigate with a new campaign and see if I can replicate the issue.
YoYopuppet 27. juni 2023 kl. 1:32
Archaon. But I can see Festus can recruit them
zerg93  [ophavsmand] 26. juni 2023 kl. 11:14
Which faction are you playing?
YoYopuppet 26. juni 2023 kl. 10:33
How do you actually get these? I got the buildings, but they dont appear in my recruitment options
zerg93  [ophavsmand] 12. apr. 2023 kl. 10:33
It is with a heavy heart that I must inform you that I will not be updating any of my mods in time for the Chorfs update because my potato PC has finally left me after years of honoured service.
I have already found a replacement, but since I still need to know the shipment data and because of other shenanigans going on, I can't give you an exact ETA on when I'll be back.
You have my full permission to take and update any of my mods, but keep in my mind that I'll be back eventually and I'm going to update the OG ones.
Now I know that some of you might want to leave a comment to cheer me up or ask me some questions but please DO NOT do that and keep the comment section clean so that people can read this comment and understand why I'm not updating my stuff.
Thanks for all the support and see you again when my new rig arrives.

oh ok sad your mod is pretty awsome
zerg93  [ophavsmand] 3. jan. 2023 kl. 5:31
I don't make SFO submods.
You'll have to wait for an SFO submodder to make an SFO submod for this mod.
Nanio 3. jan. 2023 kl. 4:34
SFO?

Okay cool I remember never finding them worth buying compared to the other variant, thanks
zerg93  [ophavsmand] 3. nov. 2022 kl. 16:24
Aside from their look, they have a minor morale buff (+10) and an armour buff (+30) if compared to vanilla Mammoth Warshrines.
So they are still pretty much the same unit but a little tankier.
Aristocratic Astorian 3. nov. 2022 kl. 16:03
What's the difference between these and basic mammoth warshrine, it's been a while since I've played as norsca
steelmidnight 12. sep. 2022 kl. 2:48
@MaxPower
I feel you, man. Chaos Lords should also have War Mammoths as mounts....Hell, they even took away Manticores and Chaos Dragons from "Marked" Chaos Lords and Heroes, when in the TT rules, ALL Lords and Heroes of any mark can take them. I dont know WTH CA was thinking....I am trying to be an optimist, hoping they are planning "themed" Manticore and Chaos Dragon mounts for all the marked generic characters, but CA has shown more than once that they really dont get these factions. (And I say "these" because they should be treated as such. They are doing an ok job recently, but Khorne should be as different from Slaanesh, as Wood elves are from High elves, ect). Heres hoping they figure it out.
steelmidnight 12. sep. 2022 kl. 2:41
Thank you for this, Zerg!
MaxPower 10. sep. 2022 kl. 11:12
Does anyone know if there's a mod which adds the regular Norsca mammoth units to WoC?
zerg93  [ophavsmand] 10. sep. 2022 kl. 2:33
I can only make custom models with in-game models and props already featuread in the game.
Making completely new custom models through third party software like Blender and such Is not possibile for me.
I can make mods that add new animals to Norsca but they will always be just alteration of vanilla animals.
[1st MD] Vet. Hood 9. sep. 2022 kl. 18:51
impressive, make more animals for Norsca not in the game already though
EggOnLegs 9. sep. 2022 kl. 13:20
@zerg93 Sorry, it was in relation to their size e.g. making them larger. That's a shame with the animation/spacing issues, cheers anyway love this Mod.
zerg93  [ophavsmand] 9. sep. 2022 kl. 12:50
Not sure what You meant there.
Mod based on LOTR or other franchises are against the ToS of this workshop= big nope.
On the other side, taking the Warhammer Mammoths and making them bigger Is completely fine and doable but they will have problems related to attack animations, spacing and during sieges.
So no, I'm not particularly interested in making them bigger than they already are.
EggOnLegs 9. sep. 2022 kl. 12:31
Great to see this Mod again! Any chance of making a 'Mûmakil' submod for huge Mammoths including these titans?
