I accepted the invite, but I can't talk right this minute. If you'd like, hit me with a message and we'll work out a time we can get together to discuss. :)

hey. could we talk on discord about that? :D i cant get it to work. the script wont ever enable the basic furnace for hat gas and my hot tank is nearly empty cause everything is in the cold gas (it now has 6mpa)
i would add you as friend in steam so i can send you my discord in a private message

You should be able to use whatever setup you like. It's not dependent on it. It just needs fuel coming into the basic furnace to be ignited and feed the hot side tank.

is it 100% needed to have the fuel mix setup as well? or can i just use my own fuel setup (jst a 02 tank and a h2 tank with a mixer, without dial or code or anythign)

Hi again! Thank you swinging by the YT channel!

The fuel mixing system is separate (up on the roof) and the gas supply system also has its own IC controlling it. Both of those have their own videos.

The fuel mixing system is here:
https://youtu.be/v4aUr0m0vKU

And the furnace gas supply is here:
https://youtu.be/DIpXnHdOFcA

So, the overall advanced furnace build uses 4 different, isolated systems. The fuel mixer, the gas supply, the furnace itself (with IC control), and the user interface system.

got it to work :) but is it intendet that the "normal" furnace that provides hot gas and all the pumps in the back wont get controlled? i had to turn them on all manually and they are running non stop now

(the volume pumps, digital valve, turbo pump, fuel pump for the normal furnace)

i write you a youtube comment for the algo :D

what fuel mix are u using in the back and what you do with the output of the furnace? wasnt able to see that in the video :D other then that i think yours will finally bring my furnace to life

Mine is fairly recent. The linked video is just after the thermodynamics update, and nothing directly related to advanced furnaces has changed since then, if I recall correctly. Good luck with it!

thanks for the answer :) nice to hear :D i will look into your video

atm im kinda bumbed out cause i now rebuild the furnace setup 4 times with different videos / scripts and nothing was up to date and did not work :D i hope yours will work for me

im new to the game and never used a adv furnace before :D

Hi! Sorry, I hadn't thought about people stumbling on this browsing the workshop. An oversight on my part. This is from a let's play series I've been doing on YouTube. The video relating to this particular code is here:
https://youtu.be/09L4AKbIrXo

That said, the code SHOULD have reasonable comments, particularly at the top, describing what's needed. I think so, anyway. It's not great code, but it does get the job done - more or less. It does control the temperature and pressure, both of which it reads off of Logic Memory devices, if I recall correctly. A separate system elsewhere (the furnace user interface) is what selects and sets the temperature and pressure values in those memory chips.

Thanks for commenting and pointing out the lack of info here. I've just been exporting from in the game's interface and leaving it at that. At some point, if I get the time, I might go back through these workshop entries and add more useful info.

what do you need to build it?
does it control pressure and temperature?
can you choose a alloy so the script automaticly tries to reach the needed temperature and pressure?

a bit more description would be nice :D
