I've tried to change it myself but no luck yet.
Additional Notes: Vanilla refers to the game, including all DLCs releases from the official without any modifications from the community.

NICE!
Great map.
However, Taiwan is technically not a part of this since it's political status remains controversial since 1945. Nothing to do with the issue between PRC and ROC. It's only because ROC claimed their ownership of the island.
Claiming this is an internal affair is not accurate at all, the issue between PRC and ROC is more similar to the situation between North and South Korea in some ways, so please stop confusing people who do not understand the whole messy situation. Thanks.
All countries that can join the United Nations are sovereign states (a sovereign state is a political entity represented by a central government that has sovereignty over a geographical area. International law defines a sovereign state as having a permanent population, a defined territory, a government, and A country that has the ability to establish relations with other sovereign states. It is also commonly understood as a sovereign state, i.e. an independent state.) Taiwan Province was replaced by the Chinese government in 1971, and China is the legitimate sovereign state in that seat. The Taiwan issue is China's internal affair, just as Hawaii is the US's internal affair.
take those nmsl people's word with a grain of salt -- they arent any important in the world
In fact, PRC never have administratively ruled Taiwan and China never took the island because Taiwan was thought of as a barbarian land, until emperor KangXi's reign in Qing dynasty. Qing Dynasty only had Taiwan for a few hundred years then they gave it to Japan in 1895, after losing the war in 1894. (Treaty of Shimonoseki, aka Treaty of Maguan)
Japan left Taiwan after WWII and in the Treaty of San Frascisco, they did not claim the sovereignty that the island should be returned to (Qing Dynasty was gone).
Taiwan was "technically" under temporary take-over by Republic of China (ROC), and ROC later claimed their "legibility" of having Taiwan. With the rise of PRC after WWII, ROC retreated to Taiwan in 1949 in the end. And this unsolved political status lasts till now.
FYI, a lot of Chinese people in Taiwan also killed indigenous people for "medicinal use" for centuries, with written records from 16th century till even early 20th century.
But I've plans to make another new video soon :)
In response to weird Chinese ethnonationalists making a CS map political and claiming Taiwan is a "province" of the PRC:
Statehood is not decided by UN membership, the PRC wasn't a UN member from 1949-1971, does that mean it wasn't a real country in that period of time? Same goes for East and West Germany, both not part of the UN until 1973, but founded in 1949.
Also, stop bringing up US involvement in middle eastern wars lol, neither does it have anything to do with anything, nor is anyone defending America here. Your whataboutism only shows that you have no real argument except for imperialism.
Also, all of the little children going on and on about politics in the comments are pathetic. Show some thankfulness to the content creator for their hard work and free map for crying out loud.
Interesting Facts:
Why are you supporting the UN resolution now? Where were you when the US launched the Gulf War, invaded Afghanistan, and bombed Syria? Where were you?
Does UN RESOLUTION 2758 mention Taiwan and that Taiwan is a sovereign state? Does the resolution mention that Taiwan does not belong to China? The resolution refers to the PRC as the sole legal government of China.
When will Orion fly? I can't wait to see the big fireworks.
FYI:
Before the end of the fifteenth century, the native people of North America were Indians.
In the mid-12th century, the Song Dynasty began to extend its administrative power to Taiwan, placing Penghu under the jurisdiction of Jinjiang County of Quanzhou, Fujian Province, and sending troops to defend it.
I won't tell you the rest, because you don't respect history and can't find a complete history book in your library
Fun Fact,
U.N. never recognized that Taiwan is belong to PRC.
What U.N. Resolution 2758 did, is nothing but admit PRC to represent "China" in the U.N.
Taiwan sovereignty never belong to PRC.
If PRC is that "Good", I sure Taiwanese will be eager to reunite with PRC
FYI:
PRC only have 72 years/73 years after 1th Oct 2022.
On the other hand, ROC is having over 100 years.
If Taiwan is an inalienable part of China, How about Vladivostok?
