can you make a tool that allows to wire things illegally. where it shows connection input and output as separate dots so you can self wire 2 logic gates together. For example XOR-a output wired to XOR-b input, and XOR-b output wired to XOR-a input. If you try doing this with the normal connection tool you'll just remove the connection.

@Reged, I think that idea would be better for the user if it was implemented in a different application besides scrap mechanic, I think what you are looking for has already been mostly done by the repertoire of Brent Batch's tools, you can find them on his git hub, I suggest you give them a try, it might be what you are looking for.

@Ben Bingo i was thinking for years now what the one of the most usefull tools for logic would be
and i always imagined it as a module that you can slap on your creation that when interacted with shows all logic gates and compatible parts on that creation and allowes you to edit connections from that screen.
Do you think i would be good idea?

@CoroproalWill123 yea you are right and I could probably do it, but I don't think the timer loop would fit very well in to the mod, since I wanna add tools that allow you to change vanilla logic easier and keep the vanilla logic spawnable without mods, but I will conaider it in future mods

@Ben Bingo wouldn't you only need to set whether the timer loop itself is Active or not, rather than a separate interactable?

@cosinf1 It a good idea, the only problem is, in lua you cant directly set an interactable to be powered or not, so the setup for the block would be insanley weird, at that point it would probably be better to make the timer
