Is there a translation of the mod description?

Just in case anyone still has that issue.
As already stated the error is not from this mod, but from an outdated version of Forgotten History.
However, just updating Forgotten History didn't work in my case.
Reason: the author of forgotten history apparently fixed the bug, but that bug was in a file that has been removed in the updated mod.
Unfortunately the update algorithm of steam seems to be too stupid to remove unneeded files.
Thus, even after unsubscribe / subscribe the error - at least in my case - still persisted.
The "validate integrity" feature did the job in my case.
However, probably it's enough to

1. Unsubscribe to Forgotten History
2. Manually remove the mod from hard disk
3. Subscribe again to the mode

@Red Fang, i dont know whats causing it, but its not star oath or this translation mod. Also Star Oath contains no such thing as l_english.yml, that sounds like a default language file. And its working for me flawlessly.

Latest stellaris update gives a blank event pop up (with an event ID AAA_origin.507) loop that pauses the game every second - endlessly.

I let ai take a look at all my mod files and the error with "l_english.yml" leads to this mod. The game is trying to read these files to display the text for the "AAA_origin.507" event but is failing due to formatting or syntax issues within the localization mod.

Can you please update the mod?

Not really, but if they didnt change staroath itself too much it should work regardless

Most likely, because stellaris made a lot of changes. But it should work regardless.

@AutemSicarius, Stellaris decided to care about small&large case letters again in the namelist, should be fine now

oh yeah, Chen Hai from Dragon Empery also have the same thing.

Did the resub, but still happening. Also started a new game and the name loc for Perseus after being recruited is NAME_SOP_perseus. The same are happening to the used to be non-recruitable leaders from Eagle Union, Royal Navy, and Iris Orthodoxy.

@AutemSicarius, there's no new leader added to the main mod since february, i suggest you re-sub to this mod, steam sometimes screws the update.

need update i think, newer leaders have missing loc (like Perseus, Bunker Hill, Saratoga. could be more)

How do I invite the leader "Tiamat Shiwu"? Do I need another mod for that? It says I need subscription to "Eos Dawn Goddess Laboratory".

Is that another mod, or its inside Star Oath mod already? What do I do?

Should be, i only saw a little change in the files and i will update it as i get some free time to do it.

Is Translation still usable with the today's version of the main mod?

@Red Fang, i suggest you post it to the mod page, maybe they will change it.

The automatic evade for leaders disrupts event chains because it forces the leader to leave. A lot of bugs happened because of it and I just realized it now. It should be turned off by default.

I found a weird pre-requisite to recruit a leader, "Subscription to Eos Dawn Goddess Laboratory". What does that even mean?

@StrykerGryphus my guess would be, that they are planned for the future as example Plymouth was in that state for ~1-1.5 years.

Original Chinese files hinted that you need an additional mod for those, but im not sure of it. If there's no popup for them, then they're not avaible.

I'd just like to ask: plenty of the Azur Lane leaders (in most factions except US/UK) can't be selected or clicked on at all. Is this because they're just placeholders for now and haven't been implemented in the main mod yet?

Yesterday every Azur Lane faction got a bunch of new characters, so if you have the time please add them to the translation. Thanks.

@Hawkmoon probably, so maybe un- and resubscribing would also have worked.

Maybe something went wrong with the automated steam update for mods.

yeah, reinstalling the game fixed the crash.

@MarvinEhre So I went full clean slate and even reinstalled the game, works now, but idk what the issue actually was.

For me, even when I only use star oath trying to open the government screen crashes the game. :(

@Hawkmoon Yup, the clean load I did was just Star Oath then the translation. Will try a few other things, but thanks for checking on your end

@Kelgaros, i hope your load order is Star Oath - > its sub mods if any -> translation, and your stellaris is running english lang. Also i just installed stellaris to my trash laptop and i found no issues with anything yet ( no crash or missing loc apart from the new leaders)

Though I will say the variable issue persists beyond just the skills. It seems like a lot of the options got disconnected from their description (In this case I was testing making someone immortal).

@MarvinEhre Not a crash per se, but I can't interact with it. Like if I have an empty spot I can't fill it, or change people out.

@Kelgaros random question, do you also get crashes with the star oath main mod, when opening the government screen?

@MarvinEhre Yeah, I did a pure Star Oath + Translation launch, same issue of variable names instead of skill descriptions.

@MarvinEhre, they werent included in the beta version, so thats why there's no loc for them, i will do them when i get home. Also no idea if there's any changes from beta to live since im not at home to check it.

The latest update added a couple of new characters:

Linkage: Error-fe4a71c, Auckland, Natsumi, Scathach, Yuyuko, Icarus and Faust
Outland: Sarah Heinrich d'Arc and Eddy
