i can only find the electric transmission no motor is it a level unlock item or only for some model of trucks the engine/motor can not be found just the transmission

ONLY thing i see needs too change is the selector from D to drive, You have it set for D low range or craw...l D for normal driving Change D to C for crawl and D for drive So you can tell the difference between Crawl and Drive Other than that LIKE your MOD works great !!!

I'm currently digging more infos on the rise of electric trucks, interestingly there are electric trucks that only has 2 gears, some are using a traditional transmission (i.e volvo's 12 speed), i may incorporate this transmission options soon

I can raise the speed limit a bit, but i'll try updating that on major changes

Anyway to increase the reverse speed limit? 4 mph seems more like a crawl when backing up.

Alright i managed to get the files of their electric trucks, there were added tags on the file itself, however, the biggest caveat is their electric implementation has gears, normally where electric truck has ♥♥♥♥ ton of torque and normally has crawl and drive gear and that's it, which is what this mod do, and due to that nature, its common to burn the wheels when pressed heavily (this mod does it too). so this mod most likely will not change until SCS Developers actually do something about it

OKAY Guys, while i was working on this mod, there were some cases here and there and ETS2 finally announced that they'll have an Electric Truck for the first time

We could have a new configuration for electric motors and i'm thinking of implementing the new electric implementation of ETS2 and hoping be implemented here also in ATS.

If all else works, then the latest Electric motor should be more polished

I am gonna push the promised electric motors but it is still widely not optimized and needs extensive testing, however if people wants to test this, new iteration, then i'll push the new update in a few hours or so

Hello, i have been very inactive and busy, but i am currently experimenting with a new line of electric engines, we'd have 4 options

500 HP
1000 HP
1500 HP
2000 HP

and a new transmission, it was pretty tough to find solution if towing something heavy, calculating wheel torque and referencing combustion engine.

i don't know the current ETA for this, but this should be a better and more fleshed out electric motor than this one, for the sound design, I could probably release it earlier as beta, as other people mentioned they want a sound, with the new implementation i made, i need to figure out how to make a proper electric sound with the way it is currently configured

Nice, but reversing is ridiculous too fast, keep damaging the trailer, so its not really an electric truck.

Hey! I have feedback for you.
Beginning with difficulty with throttling, Slight pressure = lots of acceleration Result: Difficulty in careful manoeuvring.
It also accelerates when I'm not even applying pressure, might be a me problem, I do not know.
Fuel consumption, I correlate to the RPM as mentioned above but it consumes more stationary than accelerating
One other thing,
Sounds! Mentioned by others, lack of sound which makes sense since it's electric, however the motors irl do produce a bit of noise.
So.. I'm gonna go ahead and see if this is something you could possibly do because honest to god, I have zero experience with sound design and modding, not a clue.
But anyways, if it would be possible for you to perhaps nab the sounds from here and stick them onto the motor, it'd be damn cool:

It coast me over $1,000.00 for a full charge , until you can got to a charge station this will not work for me . and needs to work with all Trucks.

Just some numbers: With a 6x8 drive train and a 125 ton vehicle weight, you can reliably maintain 80mph and get up to 85mph.

Checked out the price balance and it feels really good.

Needs a price adjustment. Swapping a standard drive train for electric motors is a significant change to the vehicle.

You need an option to remove the exhaust and air cleaners. Don't think an electric motor needs them.

Does the mod have motor sound? Can't really hear anything when I'm driving.

I like this and would like to see it update to add more of the trucks.
