yeah its a mod i bought from ironwerx modding for some weird reason you can only get a 625 CAT and no other engine size or type.maybe its something on their end i will shoot them an email thanks for the reply i appreciate it and keep up the great work i very much appreciate your time and mods as well.

You are most welcome Romain...it's truly a shame, I think they held about 40% of the trucking market at the time, surpassed only by Cummins, who was/is an optional engine on almost all brands of trucks (Frieghtliner & Western Star are married to Detroit Diesel, who all are part of the same company). I'm gonna stay subbed to your mod, 'cuz nothing sounds or performs like a Cat!

A very cool engine and the sounds It produced. It's a shame that Cat removed themselves from the trucking market, back in 2016...an emissions policy-thing. Since 2016 they now only provide engines for the industrial and military sectors...everywhere except OTR trucking. Check any truck brand's dealership/brochures/advertisements and they no longer exist in the trucking industry. The interview with a Caterpillar rep that I saw, said they'd spent years & 6 million dollars to develop the ACERT system, only to have the EPA completely reject it. So they left, too much money to stay.

I can't do anything about it, it's how the game calculate the gauge for normal cargo ( lower power = better ), maybe for fuel economy.

The only remark is that the properties are displayed incorrectly in the analytic table of the truck. According to the graphs, C15 is displayed as more powerful.

C-18 have been put in trucks aftermarket

@H.W [SWE] you can easily turn any c15 c16 into a 18 just cause its a industrial engine doesnt mean it cant be done....all you gotta do is buy liners crank rods and pistons there ya go all heads from e model to 6nz i think are the same

Unfortunately Cat does not make a C18 truck engine. They only make C18 for industrial and generators.
