if u want to enable it, u need to go to the main menu and at the top right corner, theres mods, then click that and enable first person camera, Hoped this helped

first it needs better rotation because it is placed looking at the floor. Second, it needs enchanced connection streingh or move speed controller so contraptions won't break off.

The periscope's pitch/yaw hinges don't seem to be working right. The rotation block meant for yaw is consistently being assigned pitch, and vise/versa, no matter how I arrange the rotation points.

Done. You can change keybinds in the Besiege_Data\Mods\Config\FirstPersonController... xml file in the local game files

yeh, but what if I want to use a vertically placed steering wheel by horizontally moving the mouse?
btw the mod is the best expansion to the game in my opinion!

See description. If you want to rotate only horizontally then make only horizontal hinges.
