I updated the mod to 4.0.*, added it to Lithoids and also removed the modification to 00_species_archetypes.txt.

Sorry for being this late. I wasn't playing Stellaris for years.

Hard to find your trait icon, I have a lot of trait mods and it's hard to look, please add/substitute a screenshot so the icon is visible.

By the way, thanks to your mod, AI can gain traits by 99 points? This is bad for game performance. Can I just delete the 00_species_archetypes.txt file so this doesn't happen?

I understand correctly, other mods are not needed here? And AI cannot use it, incl. during genetic modification?
