Can you make a mod where it removes the Orange Faction completely? aka give the Planets to the 3rd Party Factions or the Playable ones?

hay man the empire is wayyy to op to be fun to play and what are these outposts and why do they give 1000-4000 credits each!?!? the empire starts the game making 10,000 credits how is that fair or fun to play? the outposts should be removed from the game

I've also noticed the rebels start to build Viscount, quite often, but then the AI cancels it after some minutes, kinda weird

Both on highest and normal difficulty. Only with rebels. It does not seem to matter what actions I take, it still happens

It is really unfortunate that this error is reproducible.

it would be nice if you would let me know if it's the standard or grand campaign
even if both campaigns are affected, i will have to undo the changes affecting the rebels

It crashes for me as well at month 36, playing as rebels, medium difficulty. I could reproduce it simply by letting the game go on without touching it.

unfortunately the campaign is very prone to crashes :sad_lif:

some are random, some appear due to a memory bug. the memory bug completely destroys saved games.

it is advisable to create many saved games

as already mentioned several times with the remake mod, this is due to the very old game engine

Well, I got around to processing your request earlier

the rebels now have more starter planets in the grand campaign as well

I have also included a backup file for the grand campaign in a separate folder
if your saved games are not compatible, you can replace the new file with the old one
I hope that there will be no problems with my update

in the mod description i explained where you can find the file and how you can replace it

I've also created a new map with the minor factions, unfortunately I hardly ever get to test it, and doing this alone is extremely difficult as I have to keep repeating the campaign to make sure there aren't any weird behaviors from the AI

and for the rebellion in the standard campaign

I kind of find it shameful how the devs of the remake mod made it so minor factions are more powerful than major ones. I get they wanna add difficulty from the start, but its just annoying and leads you turtling until you win through sheer numbers at least in my experience. Its a shame too since I think the minor factions are really cool conceptually, they just need them to be less powerful (and maybe make the economy system a little better).

I think Sonawoooo is talking about how the rebel only start with 3 planets, and is probably asking you to give them more in your mod

what do you think should be changed?



i actually only play this campaign with my empire mod, so i never have any problems, so serious feedback is interesting.

and we can all work together to determine an appropriate level of difficulty
