Dspecial would work vs character whose recovery had little to no hitbox, or you dodged the hitbox of it and grab them as they are recovering. Otherwise you can still put the portal out as passive pressure since you can Nspecial and Fspecial people thru portal.

Uspecial might be slow but if you can aim FOR the opponent, it could work, otherwise you can also aim inside the stage so you appear on the ground - which mean opponent can still knock you off stage but you would be having your air options this time.

I was playing as Kanos for a while and I really loved how he played but I do have a few gripes with how little I can use his down special in a few situations.
It was risky to use and I couldn't use it often since it and the hand can be destroyed in one move, along with the hand stunning you if hit. His Up Special is cool but it has so much endlag after use that you'll most likely never get back on stage after being knocked off.

But everything else is really good and I really enjoyed my time with him

So how exactly do you do the heavenly pot buster? Not entirely sure what "Ustrong galaxy on last stock" means, but the only similar thing I've gotten before is landing a charged Ustrong attack which grabs the enemy and RKOs them.

Welp, Kanos can still do his wacky grab loops and other shenanigans regardless of the parry stun so hid core is unchanged, i'm just saying a layer of depth was removed is all.

I don't have a problem with most of the nerfs, but the one that sorely sticks out is the parry stun on his d-tilt. I think it's too much punishment and removes a layer of tactics from his gameplan. Before if you threw it out with no thought it would get parried and you'd get sent toward the opponent for them to combo you, but you also had the option to bait them parrying, you parrying back so that you still have I-frame advantage to punish them. So no fun ganon tennis and now it's just a standard speed projectile with less depth and more risk than it's worth.

The nerfs were needed to be sure. Losing the projectile reflect hurts a bit. I get it though that one was totally OP.

Yo, this character is rad as heck. A lot of fun to play against too, though I have noticed some character specific mechanics that don't work properly with him.

Cofagrigus by Flophawk can't inflict their Mummy's Curse debuff on Kanos. This is not just a graphical error, as it does affect Cof's fspecial and dspecial, both of which change to kill options when used on Cursed opponents.

Tenshi by Rioku has an odd effect when their falling rock platform is reflected by Kanos' fstrong. The rock is thrown as normal, but upon contact with a player/the ground the rock continues detonating indefinitely. This makes a lot of noise, and leaves Tenshi unable to summon the rock platform for the rest of the match, severely neutering her recovery.

Thanks for making another ballin' character. I haven't experienced these issues with other characters, so I'd greatly appreciate it if you gave them a look.
