I must have had leftover mods or something installed, I uninstalled the game but still had a kenshi folder in steam install path, deleted that, did a clean install again and it now all work fine

Been having an issue with your collection lately, I am met with an "Error "custom race" character model not found." message. Those would be the obvious not working but I feel like more seem to not be working. I've tried doing a clean install but it did not help either.
I've been using your collection for a while and never had issue with the previous iterations as far as I'm aware when I was using them a couple of months ago before I stopped playing.
I read the changelog hence I went with the clean install route to save myself the trouble from sorting through everything that i should have removed manually.

@theo. For the animal mods, you can skip over all the robot animals. About the fleshy ones, you may get missing mods references, but it shouldn't CTD.

It's a bit harder to separate animal mods from the integration patch, since the patch adds all the relevant death items, like scraps (Beast Forge), organs (Gastronome), wool (Animal Variation) and dog skulls (UWE)

@theo. I'm not sure. I don't remember if the description of the book was a reference parody of The Lusty Argonian Maid or if it's an actual history.

You can remove the particular item with no issue tho. since it's intended to be a sellable item.

@theo. Gastronome adds the 'Artistic View'' research. However it's untranslated. Then at Item Integration Patch I add the ENG translation for that research and item.

Hi, do you know which mod/s add the item "Artistic view" in the research menu? It adds something called "Lewd stories" so I would like to remove it.

@XopcMog. Perhaps you're not setting the job properly, since nothing at the collection changes that feature.

Alternatively, you can keep a dog or a processor unit so they take care of limbs and corpses.

And that small storage it's UWE's default system. The collection includes the Better Storage System mod too, however I intentionally locked it with UWEs. So you'd eventually get both systems

Also I'm pretty sure the storage is somewhat broken in this collection. It seems you can only get the storage boxes for a lot of things in stacks of 10 or 25.
There's never any upgrade to these at any tier of the tech table despite I'm sure there's a mod in this collection where you can upgrade from 100 -> 250 -> 1000 -> 2500 etc for your storages but the technology just isn't available.

Uh wait, test_mod.mod is already in the load list under clothes and hats while oni.mod is listed under new races? I know there is a mod for an 'oni' race on the workshop, was that in the collection at some point?

@Anrhaa ah, the Oni hat mod is showing as test_mod.mod rather than oni.mod seems like the author changed something? Guess I'll just put test_mod.mod next to where ther original was on the load list.

And I can't be sure. It depends on the amount of missing dependencies. The more they are, the more likely you're getting a CTD

'UWE - Item's Integration Patch' has 'Oni' listed as a missing dependancy mod, I don't see it in the list either, will the missing dependancy cause any issues? Also would removing any of the other dependencies like Child overhaul cause issues too?

@Anrhaa Perfect! I figured there had to be some reason, but I wasn't able to ascertain that on my own. Still in the testing and configuring and problem solving phase of my modlist. I thank you for the quick response man your a real g. Modders are probably some of the most underrated & overlooked people in the world now, because it takes me sometimes hundreds of hours to put together a solid list for game, so I cant even imagine the work you've put in!

@clayoverby96. Is a good question. Pathfinding collection makes characters and animals move better in groups and not get stuck at pebbles.

Now, Scar's mods are still listed for their extra features: they set road preference (how likely your characters are likely to follow roads when traveling) and extra features for some animals

@Anrhaa Hey, really appreciate your mods and your work. If you would be so kind, would you be able to give me a simple explanation to a query I have about this modlist. I see that you have the Pathfinding Collection, and you also have scars pathfinding fix in the modlist. Isnt this redundant as the collection mod contains the fixes made by scarRAW? I am working on a modlist of my own, and using ChatGPT to help. Am I just being a derp or is there a good reason you have both of those in the same modlist?
