@Oth Law I just saw your mod and it has more changes than mine.

@0th Law Bookmarks+ kinda does that but I'll be making pretty much an immersion and flavour mod for the HRE and the Carolingian Empire.

Ah, one of the things that led me to make one of my own mods. Course, I suppose this one is better if you just want to stop France from exploding instead of also introducing the Carolingian Empire into the mix.

@scurtis94 AI is too moderate. I've seem Byzantium empire destoried by dissolution wars many times and when happens none were able to restore again. It's so easy for AI empires to fall apart.

As a small thought: I like the mod the way it is: being lightweight it likely won't mess with a lot of mods.
For example, I like playing it Italy or Byzantium- I just don't like looking over to France and seeing it it explode every game I'm not playing it.

@ssirbe1 Thank you for you sharing your thoughts. So, let me clarify this mod actually tries to make France historical and is not complete, I will be updating the mod and adding events to change the names of the kingdoms, and you are pretty much right about the history. Also, about the Kingdom of Aquitaine, I will be adding events and decisions that will destroy the Kingdom of Aquitaine and make some changes to the de jure duchies of the Kingdom of Aquitaine at the historical dates in the game. I will try to make it historical but it would not be 100% historical

Again, thank you, your comment will help me to develop this mod.

"This mod also makes France historical" ...does it though?
Charles the Bald was actually King of Aquitaine before he gobbled up northern France.
The first mention of "King of France" was in 1190, prior to that they were "King of the Franks"
While the area was known as Francia, that was kinda by default as Middle (Lotharingia) and East Francia gained different names over time.
