Making the clean version of this mod is possible. But I wouldn't say I like to continue to manage mods I do not use indefinitely.
I temporarily made the variant mod available so you can download and keep a copy on your PC.
It will be deleted from the Workshop on 8 December.

I prefer a patch option. Feel free to upload the translation of this mod as a patch.
But please make sure to include the installation instruction in your translation mod. The installation process in the description is indispensable to lighting up the new backpack as intended.

Currently, I don't use the listed mods. But as far as I have read from their descriptions, none of them seem to change Hive Caravan's vendor lists. So I think those mods cause no problem when you use them with "Backpack with Light".
I hope this information helps you.

You can see and use a new backpack itself just by clicking subscribe. BUT, at least in my tests, the floating light source never works if I don't have mod files (.phs files) in the Kenshi/mods folder.

My guy, this mod is absolutely brilliant! I love the idea you added a lantern onto a backpack -- much like the awesome games that uses lanterns with backpacks (Skyrim backpack mods, Outward, etc). It adds onto the merchant playstyle just a bit better, and I look forward to using it more! Thanks for making and bringing this mod to life!!!

this sounds pretty neat :)
usually a lantern takes up a lantern slot, so if this can only need a backpack slot i can give some people one of these, and they can still use other slots for more armour etc :)
