One discovery that may be helpful for fixing it is that the Hemp and Vegetable MOD resources can function normally. Improving Farms on these resources can yield additional benefits as expected.
I'm pushing an update now, guess i found the fix. I only looked through the files but didn't test, no time tbh, please report back, thanks again.
Thanks again. Appreciate people giving feedback and posting when there's a problem.
Cheers.
In the actual game situation, if MOD resources are included within the city's accessible range, the benefits provided by unimproved resources are still effective, and improvements can still be made. However, the additional benefits obtained through improvements are invalidated.
For example, in the illustration provided by this MOD, when silk is included within the city's accessible range, the 1 culture per turn gain under the "no improvement" status is effective. However, the additional 2 culture and +30 gold per turn that should be gained after improving the Camp are nullified.
Similarly, when exotic furs are included within the city's accessible range, it still provides 2 culture per turn under the "no improvement" status. However, even if the Camp is improved, the additional 2 culture and +40 gold per turn cannot be obtained.
I have to ask again. Builders cant improve them but you said when they move to developed impro. you dont get the proper yields. Hmm.
So, for instance, Silk not-improved doesnt give you 1 Culture, etc.
In the output.log file, the section describing the error is as follows:
------------------- Error ----------------------------
00:07 - [Infos] Extra field: Translation in Infos/text
------------------------------------------------------
Upon returning to the game and reducing the mods to only using "Resources+", the above text still appears at the beginning.
Can you do me a favour and post/upload the output.log from \Documents\My Games\OldWorld\Logs?
The added resources cannot be properly improved, and when workers are moved to the plot, the developed improvements also fail to provide benefits correctly.
Once again, thank you for bringing vitality to the Old World community.
Great mod though!
