I pushed an update that should fix crashing and those provinces as well as some other things. Having an error trying to fix some other problems but they're minor. Will fix later.

I agree with you on Zeta. I don't like how the provinces are cut off like that either. I may change it.

Greetings! I was looking for some balanced mod for my MP session and found this one, it looks awesome! I love the new provinces, new estate and privileges and new formables! I just wish Zeta was not cut off from Serbia, not just that Serbia lost its province, but also cores and don't even have access to territories they controlled in 1444 - just due to mountains. I just tried playing Tunisia and the mission tree is broken, is it possible to update this mod please? It looks awesome for a MP session

not sure if you have any interest in continuing to update the mod, but i was playing around in the files and found that the on-actions file is causing the game to crash while colonising, this is specifically happening due to the check development decision

Appreciate the kind words :winter2019neutralbulb: and I'm glad you got into modding. It's rewarding but also tedious and many people can be awful when they 'critique' your work. Hopefully people didn't stress you out as much as they did me.

about 2 years ago when an eu4 host i was in couldn't decide on what mod to run with, we stumbled upon this mod, and for the next 6 months almost exclusively played it when we hosted. I enjoyed this mod enough to begin learning how to mod paradox games so that i could emulate the same fun and fine tuning opportunities that it offers to players, and naturally you helped m with links and some advice for modding starting out. I know you mention that modding can be very tedious and unrewarding at times but for all that your diligence has given me and many others I am very thankful for the time you've taken to make this game and the community that much better.

3) The court estate is a nice addition to balance with the others because most of the time estates feel pretty static and boring.
4) The ability to hire generals and advisors with the decision is a God send. It is so tiring firing the same advisors OVER and OVER wasting money, just trying to get one specific type of admin or dip advisor, in base game or even most mods.

Thanks for the response. The things I like about Peratus:
1) The Idea groups are far better than base game and I like them more than the altered idea groups in mods like the Expanded series. Colonization as a singular admin mod is great as is the ability to specialize the army with military ideas like Pike & Shot or Barrage
2) The map. The added provinces are great and make the world feel considerably bigger. The additional mountain barriers added around the map, like in Iberia or the Balkans, make for more interesting military gameplay in the region. Additionally, huge fan of all the added crossings. You have to be able to control the crossing to use them without the hassle of having to have all the transport ships just to get one province. This is especially great for the Malta routes out of Sicily and North Africa.

@Rubulisk Thanks for the comment. I've been slowly working on the bugs as people report them but I haven't felt the EU4 love in nearly 2 years, thus, progress is slow. I've been busy and stressed and don't want to spend my time working when I am free. May I ask what you like about the mod so much? People love to give negative feedback, but rarely do people give positive, it helps to know what people like as well as what people don't like.

Super excited to see the return of Peratus, far and away the best overhaul mod for EU4. Unfortunately, started a game as Portugal and first time I went to colonize a province the game crashed on me.

there is a bug with the Brandenburg mission causing parts of the Mayan mission tree to be merged in.

Crash when hovering over/clicking the send colonist button when I have colonists. Does not crash when no colonists. Maybe something's going wrong with global settlers calculation.

Updated mod to work with latest version. Consider it an alpha test, though. I've only fixed crashing caused by launching the game and unpausing the game. I basically watched the AI play for an hour. I've also fixed a few bugs I noticed during this.

Seems like Marines are disabled? I can't find anything on this, all I do know is that upon taking Royal Marines, I'm still unable to build them. Despite the game saying 10% of my force limit can be marines.

Any help?

Sorry fellas been busy with work and moving last 2 months. Finally getting settled in and bought a laptop for use at work. Will slowly get back into modding after I check out the new update and wait for a patch to fix any annoying bugs that may make modding very tedious. THE BALANCE AND FLAVOR WILL RETURN, AND IT WILL BE BALANCED.

To anyone still using this mod for MP games, I've got an update being worked on but I've been either 1. Busy 2. Uninterested in modding/EU4 in general 3. Unmotivated for the last few months. Next update (as planned) will have 5-8 new mission trees, some fixes and maybe other content.

@Terry I haven't seen this in any of my games or other games or been able to replicate it, all of the colonies have had the proper culture as their primary. Are you using any other mods?

@Lekoopa20 You're right that hussite hasn't been given the love it deserves, but don't forget that it also has the shock damage modifiers from the base bonuses + event on ruler death. I've made some modifications but the ICA is staying at 5 for now.

I suggest increasing the infantry combat ability bonus from the hussite faith from 5 to 15 ir 10 at least and the dev cost bonus from 5 to 10 because the hussite faith cant really compete with the army bonuses and eco bonuses of other religions ( only the manpower one is really good) plus it would make it more viable to play hussite nations :)

@Frozeniceberg Never really made one. It's supposed to be one of the 'government type' idea groups, where it's just a single idea. May add a tier 2 in the future, when I get around to finishing idea group changes (Which will also no longer allow anyone to take any idea group)

@simonsweboy The original intention of the "Rome" formable was twofold. One, to signify that the Italians did not want to create a 'new Italian identity' but instead reclaim their legacy of Rome. Two, it was to reward a player who conquered all of Italy before forming Italy - by giving them a stronger formable, Rome. In the end, I haven't liked it much.

@DUCATISLO The American natives aren't played EVER in MP, and very rarely in SP, and they just make colonizing more annoying.

@simonsweboy The Rome formable was actually meant to be removed, next update I'll either fully remove it or fix it.

Rome has no mission tree and can't form Italy so kinda hard to get that nice purpale color but not any new missions for forming roman empire

@Fdiggin only Tier 1 idea groups (The ones you see at the start of the game with no requirements) have policies. Adm and Dip groups only have policies with each other, whereas Mil groups have policies ONLY with other Mil groups. Tier 2 idea groups (The ones you unlock after fully completing certain Tier 1 idea groups) have NO policies, as they are much stronger than Tier 1 idea groups.

This is so you can take two Tier 1 Groups and not be super far behind someone who took a Tier 2. The Policy helps make up the difference and stops you being forced to always take Tier 2s.
