As mentioned on my other Extended Species Mods, I am discontinuing the individual mods in favor of a (built from the ground up) merger: Galactic Diversity

Not all mods have been integrated yet, and some features maybe never will, but this is the place where, if anything, everything will be from now on.

An update for those unaware: The lovely people over at Machines & Robot Expansion Continued have updated, revamped and included features of this mod into theirs. For a while now. Go check it out if you haven't already.

It would be nice if nanomachines had an option to disable it's effect on a per-planet basis so the pops get moved VIA automatic resettlement rather than being 'trapped' on a planet due to having a job and without needing the player to manually resettle pops from the planet

Hey right now it nonomachines reads like you get bonuses over 100 and negatives under 100 while in game it seems to be the other way around? maybe change from over/under to under/over?

Ah, I figured it out. The More Events Mod is using the same namespace - mem_l_english.

I've checked and it works perfectly fine on both of my devices. So shouldn't be due to that.
If it is a mod conflict it's got to be something other than Machine&Robots Expansion, as I tried and running both worked just fine. My best guess is another mod uses the same acronym as my mod and overwrites the entire loc. Can you confirm if it works by itself?

English. Most times I've had issues like this it was down to yml formatting or encoding, but both of those seem like they *should* be fine in the localization files here. :T

Finally starting a new game with this mod in play and I'm having an issue with the locstrings - everything's showing up as "name_of_thing_effects" and whatnot. I am running Machine & Robot Expansion, but I'm not sure that's to blame. Tried deleting and redownloading the mod to no avail.

@anyday308 Unlikely, but I haven't tested. If you do encounter any problems, be sure to let me know. My mods don't overwrite vanilla so unless another mod uses the same naming_scheme or completely overhauls something there shouldn't be any problems.

Cool update, looking forward to giving this a go in an upcoming game. *Love* the idea of Overtuned == Overclocked, and it's kinda weird PDX didn't consider that kind of addition when doing Toxoids.

Updated! Reworked!

This has been the first update since December last year. While I didn't maintain the mod during this time, it luckily wasn't broken in any way either. I've now added a bunch of new Traits and reworked most existing ones - mainly Nanomachines and AI Splitting. The encrypted Protocol has been reworked into an Origin & we now have Overclocked, a machine Origin inspired by Toxoids' Overtuned, with new special Traits of its own as well as a new mechanic: Glitches.

Let me know what you think about the changes.

I recommend not starting a new playthrough with this mod right now, I've recently cooked up some pretty significant changes for Nanomachines, AI Split and Encrypted Protocol. Will update as soon as I finalize loc.

Heya! This mod still works fine in the current version, but it seems like some of the trait descriptions are broken. Nanomachines for example doesn't actually give a breakdown of what is does and its name isn't formatted properly

Hi, im not sure if you saw it but Paradox Removed a modifier: "Removed pop_assembly_speed modifier. You should use planet_pop_assembly_(organic_)mult instead. The sole difference previously was the former only worked in species traits (the untriggered sections) and the latter worked everywhere else (but not species traits). The error log didn't warn you of this, either. So now the latter works everywhere and the former no longer exists." so some parts of your mod might not work

I copied only one error but there's like 100+ occurrences in my log. It did not cause CTD but still not great 😂

Yo, I have Encrypted Protocol from the start of the game, the game let´s me remove it even when the trait says that cannot be removed, and I am on the year 2287 waiting for the "event" to activate the "encrypted protocol" Do I have to do something to trigger it?

Think it's a mod conflict. I re-subbed and the issue continues. I also have several trait mods so it's probably one of those, will likely change up my list for Overlord expansion

@Tumama Possibly in the future, but currently Machines is pretty low on my to-do list.

@A Shiny Noob That's strange, everything works fine on my end. Either the file broke somehow which a simple re-download should fix or there's some mod conflict. Using any other mods which add machine traits?

I'm having an odd issue. The only traits that show up are Nano Machines and Encrypted, everything else is gone. Have they not been implemented yet or something?
