Investment Advisor only applies to the effects of cards or die rolls.
The "Investment Advisor" employee card says "Whenever your investment would decrease in value, negate the effect."
If a player lands on or passes investment, and then subsequently collects, can they invoke the "Investment Advisor" card to keep the investment at its original value? For example, if the investment contains $641, can the player collect $641 and then use their "Investment Advisor" to keep the investment at $641? Can they then subsequently add $300 to their investment to make it $941?
@Duralith: There are workarounds to some of those problems. Lord can probably assist you if you need help; the DIscord server is there for that reason. :)
When searching up "London Bridge 2D art" on Google, we only were able to get the Tower Bridge 2D art, and thus, it is shown as is.
You may, however, sell a public works building for 50% of the money you paid to build it, however the public works card is then reshuffled back into the deck and the building is returned to the Bank/bag.
(Technically, it's from the people you are suckering into your scam, but for all intents and purposes as far as the game is concerned, it comes from the Bank).
When you are told to advance to a space by a card, you resolve the event of that space - unless the card is a Travel Voucher that specifies not to pay rent, in which case you do not resolve the effects of the space (no rent paid if owned, you may not purchase the property if unowned).
