How did you get some of these shots? I see controls for walking your driver around but I've no idea how to leave my truck or manipulate the camera outside of taking snapshots.

Put this mod over the sound fixes pack in your load order, and it should be fine. You'll get that mod's crossing gates, and this mod's train sounds.

@xx_andrew_xx My mod only modifies the vanilla soundref files, to point them into my sound bank. As long as another mod doesn't also modify those soundrefs, or make the locomotives/railcars use different soundrefs than the original ones, there will be no conflict.

@Retard_locomotive_Engineer Out of the scope of this mod. If someone else wants to make a mod to do that, I don't mind. I wouldn't do it because having a full Nathan P5 horn on top of a truck would look pretty overkill.

@csx68 Yes, but that would require editing the def files for those locomotives. That could introduce compatibility issues with other mods, as well as potentially complicate compatibility with future updates. For now, it is outside of the scope of this mod.

@TW Indeed, I had a similar thought, also with the train horn. I have been working on some small volume tweaks since yesterday, and have just pushed a new version with these. The train horn and bell have been made a bit louder, among some other tweaks.

Keep in mind that the bell sound is quieter from behind the locomotive by design, to emulate how they attenuate in the real world.

@Ilyosse Good catch, it seems that this mod only halfway worked even when placed above Sound Fixes Pack in the load order. The diesel locomotive and cargo/passenger wagon sounds were still replaced by that mod due to its def file edits.

I have updated the mod now to include soundref files specific to the Sound Fixes Pack, which will point the locomotive/wagon sounds to my mod's sound bank. So this mod will now fully work when placed above Sound Fixes Pack in the load order.

@jhandkw This would still be a mod conflict. You either have a mod which is overriding the "sound/world/semaphore_ats.bank" file, OR you have a mod that is pointing the crossing gates to a different bank than the default one, in the "def/world/semaphore_model.sii" file.

I replaced the sound by replacing the bank file, as the semaphore_model file is a nightmare for both mod compatibility and future update compatibility. Perhaps you can find the conflicting mod with this info.

As a first step, you can try to putting this mod at the top of your load order. If it's fixed, another mod is overriding the bank. If not, another mod is modifying that semaphore_model file.

Do you know this? It is not a MOD conflict because I have been using another one it works fine.
