However, (especially if its believed there's only one battery that drops), the battle goes from fun to tedious after the first battery overloading, largely due to its apparent length. Making it clear that the Cthulhu enemy drops a battery (or switch it out with a bot), along with maybe doubling the bot spawn rate (or increasing it for each stage/time until a certain limit is hit) should keep the boss fight interesting. At that point, its not so much a long time dodging lasers waiting for enemies to pop, but constantly moving and shooting, and the length of the boss fight is now tied to your abilities.
