The remaster doesn't use your hitboxes because they wouldn't work with the new model.

The classic model still uses them and still credits you.

You need to select the rat, then (in the default gmod playermodel menu) enable the skingroup/bodygroup for colorability. Then you'll be able to customize the color.

Looking into it. It seems to only be the TF2 taunts in that mod. Using other playermodels causes similar issues. Meaning this is just an issue with that mod.

I'm unsure how to fix animation issues since it should be using the proportion animation during blending to fix such issues.

The update for the rat should be out tomorrow hopefully.

It'll include all the original hats plus one bonus one, the colorable rat will now be a skin toggle, and improved rigging, physics model and such.

I will upload a "classic" version that will be 99% the same as the current version for compatibility and old dupes, except the name is different in the playermodel menu to avoid conflicting with this one but that shouldn't cause issues.

Also unlikely the remaster will include new hats. I'll have the original hats just so it's atleast even with the current original. The main difference will just be that the armature is fitted to the model so that the bends and such are better, and i added one edge loop to make the arms bend much better.

Rat is getting a remaster. I've finally redone stuff and gotten good results. The current version will still exist unmodified, just as it's own addon that'll be called the "Classic" version. Mainly for compatibility with stuff still pointing to the old model as the remaster will be in my current filepath.
