I'm very curious to see how consistently playing this with others would work, since I know Kirby Fighters(2) played casually or competitively encourages shielding a lot, whereas rivals has no shield. if anyone here would like to play it with me i am down

this mod is so good i will probally never turn it off, it makes some of my most hated maps actually tolerable

I love this mod so much, I feel like this mode/buddy makes the Game even more fun, as someone who enjoys Kirby fighters or anything kirby related this is really amazing

I meant a version that the buddy will apply to all players including CPU's if its on at least one person so even if someone doesn't have the buddy enabled they will have Kirby Fighters on? Just so that other buddies are usable with this mod.

Dunno, I never really designed this buddy for boss stages yet.

Idea; maybe a little flexibility on who it gets applied to. This tends to mess with how some boss fights work, so maybe split the buddy into four different buddies, apply to all CPUs (current), apply to red team, apply to blue team, and apply to only self/no CPUs. Could also be useful for gimmick matches with one side using default mechanics and the other using stamina.

It's recommended for everyone playing to have the buddy equipped anyways to9 not have bugs like the one Oblivious Blob was having and to not cause desyncs online.

Unfortunately that's an issue with buddies no longer rendering stuff on the screen once their owner dies. I can't do anything about that. Mechanically, they should still have a health bar but it just doesn't visually appear.

dieing with only CPUs cuase their health bars to disapear and they just fight... forever

This is the BEST Mode, makes the game so much fun! :D

IMO the extra health shouldn't scale with hurtbox but with weight.

Looks super cool though, can't wait to try it!
