Hey,
unfortunately, the rear window of the 9900i is heavily darkened in the daycab, which means that you can't see the trailer when coupling up, maneuvering or cornering.
Is it possible to fix this?
The rest of the mod (following the previous speaker) seems to work wonderfully for me - thank you.

Thanks Vaulcan, ive been away for over 2 years i havent been able to update it. "total mess" how? Do the textures not work anymore etc? I will update it but I don't know whats changed since 1.44 and I have another mod at higher priority now.

@Digital X Thanks for adding the GPS, I have the official dlc to place them on the right side. But if I put the mirrors on the trunk of the truck, the right one is covered, even with the smaller GPS. So thanks for adding them, it was very helpful. Also the variety of the colors of the interior is appreciated. It would be very nice if you could add a functional turbo PSI indicator in the empty area of the dashboard, it would be VERY good.

Yes. Currently working on the interior textures, and that will take a little while. Recently had some bad personal stuff going on so there's no definite date but it's being worked as we speak.

Is it true you have been given the reigns over Viper2's Peterbilt and will keep the legend alive?

I'm currently working on the International LT Addons mod now. So far I have some new plastic parts for the bumpers, fenders and mudguards. New sunvisor types and currently modelling the fuel tanks.

I was considering doing a little something with the International LT as well.

They were in, but I wasn't happy how they came out and I can't quite model the Eaton style yet.

Please add stick shift as an accessory

Updates are going well, the file size has been reduced from 127MB to roughly 23MB so a huge leap there. Gear levers & knobs are in and working, albeit basic looking for now. No Eaton style yet. I've tried about 10 different black textures so far and hopefully can settle on this one. Tangent Space Normal Mapping has been used for the black leather and it looks great (in Blender at least.) I know it's a bit dark in the cabin so I am trying to find happy medium.

I did notice it was a bit odd, but it's straight out of the 1632 from Ekualizer when I took it over from him, I'll get it sorted.

Thanks for the input, the shininess is coming from the Specular values. While it's nice to have a polished wood effect it looks it's wrapped in cling film. I'll adjust the values and export each one again. Yeah the maple and black leather is my favourite so far.

I wouldn't make the maple any brighter, it's already super bright compared to the others. Brown wood needs the most help :P

OK so on my end, maple is the easiest to see, and my fav brown wood is the hardest. Correction on my earlier comment, the brown wood looks great when the sun's on it, when it's not, it's a little too dark, and sometimes weirdly shiny and reflective. The other two are in the middle, but that gloss gives them a bit of discoloration at certain angles so it looks like the two halves of the dash are different colors. I don't like the way SCS did the gloss on this dash, it should be clear when you're looking directly at it and shiny from an angle :S at least that's how it is in the 9900s around here.

Manual shifters are coming yes. I haven't modelled an Eaton yet, just the regular ball type gear knob. Which interior name was it? I am going to raise the diffuse on all the wood panels so it's brighter on all of them.

HEh was just throwing that out there :P both you guys work clean and if something is giving me issues I know for sure it isn't from you lol, that's a rare thing nowadays. I haven't tried Colton's edit, but I saw pics of it. Any plans to add manual shifters? BTW I think the dark interiors look just fine, the only problem is the semi gloss veneer in this truck- that beautiful wood is pretty much invisible when the sun shines on it lol

Teaming up with others is not something I've actually ever done, I'll consider it. The last time I worked with someone on a project was back when I had my Amiga 600 lol.
