hey what if you made this a custom game, it would make it a lot easier on us to actually use the mod, i was looking back on old mods and found this from the forestry mod so please make a custom game

I tried to add Modpack, Modpack Polygons, Modpack Beta and Modpack Challenge Parts to my Survival along with Fant Mod and it was a spectacular failure, without any recipes for Modpack parts. Thank you for making this not a failure as well as having recipes for Modpack parts. And without finding your patch mod, I would never have found the Forestry one. I love it!

Anyone who has not tried to patch mods into Survival Mode will not understand your long "Noooooo." Since I do, I 100% appreciate the work you have put into this.

Thanks for keeping the Forestry Mod alive and well after this time. I'm glad my small project has made a last impact to the game. I've edited my mod description to explain that it is dated and kept it up for historical reference. I've added the direct link to your modpack at the top to push any traffic your way. Can't wait to install this for my next playthrough.

At the top of the instructions there are links to every mod, the on you're asking about isn't on steam. You need to get it from a different site. I'e linked it here for you, so you don't need to look for it.

@Questionable Mark This patch contains no mod data for the express reason of not redistroing other peoples mods, you must download and install the mods this patch fixes for anything to work.

@Twisted I've done everything you've done multiple times over just to ensure that everything works properly because people tell me this all the time, no, it's not my patch, it's you doing something wrong. double check that you installed EVERYTHING and then applied the patch, the black screen is it just loading.

@vkolodiev follow the Install.txt closelyer, I've checked 1,000 times, it works.

Kitty: As per request, I would personally like to see more cosmetic variety in Buttons and (especially) Switches added.

The mod I was looking at adding along, if it'd work, would be Faux's Garments (And given the sheer volume of costumes the latest version from the Google Drive adds, I could hardly request you to make over 100 outfits ;) )

Did you get permission from the mod creators to include their mods in this pack?

Oh and alternative load screens is also compatible, just add over top of the compat patch.

@Sandling I believe extended UI works, don't quote me on that but for the most part it's just the ones I've put together. I've got some plans in the pipe for easier installing of the patch and once I can figure out that I'll start adding things like polygons and making my own version of some mods like Solar panels, Had an idea for a solar motor but a lot of that depends on how well the installer goes.

If you have any suggestions on things you want me to MAKE rather than things you want me to ADD then feel free to let me know, adding compatibility for other peoples mod is a painful process and people can't seem to wrap their heads around installing other mods first so yeah, priorities.

Still having a whole lot of fun with this mod! - Are there any mods that can be safely installed and played alongside this mod for Survival Mode? (If so, any you would recommend?).

@larsgren.kristensen unless you wanna write a recipe file for me and I'll add it to the compatibility. besides that the only thing I'm adding are changes to the existing mods until I can get an auto installer, people struggle with installing the mods I have, adding more would be a nightmare.

i followed all the steps with a vanilla file, now i cannot load into worlds .__.

do i need to install the mods first or the patch first? assistance would be greatly appreciated

any chance you can add durf polygons too ? those shapes makes a huge difference in how stuff can look.

@Sandling I did a total uninstall and re install using only the workshop files, (deleted and reinstalled workshop too) and it works just fine, I'm pretty sure your friend just didn't install the mods correctly.

Also a black screen is totally normal, it's just loading... Obviously if you add a bunch of extra stuff to a game it makes it load up slower.

Also, I am not even getting a missing items message; I have a black screen after I press play.

Amazing mod! - I would recommend updating the installation to mention that you need to dump the contents of the 'Survival' folder from Forestry into the equivalent Survival folder of the Scrap Mechanic installation folder. One of my friends dumped it all in the root and got confused. ;)

@Folded_Taco yes. Most items stack with a few exceptions and blocks stack to 512.
