@daedalus93 I didn't actually test it, I just used a program called winmerge to see what folders/files they shared and they didn't have any in common, which should mean they are compatible. Never heard of Able and Stable

I haven’t tried it in a while I don’t remember which version of KM it was, I’m using the newest version of KM now though so I will test it tomorrow and let you know. When you were testing it did you put your mod before or after KM? BTW I’m using a very slightly modified version of “able and stable”

@daedalus93 I'm taking a look at the files for each and I don't see any in common. How many mods are you using and what exactly is the problem? Do you mean the old KM or the new KM updated by another modder?

As you patch it you should keep in mind that it is currently incompatible with the very popular knight manager mod

@Smoker Luckily the patch didn't break this mod so I updated it yesterday. I'm thinking about making changes to make my traits more in line with how PDX has changed their trait system. No ETA on that though.

Hi, @raquel Thank you for your mod, I've enjoyed it greatly!

I've made a compatch for this, and Elder Kings. It's currently just an edit to the combat_on_actions, but due to the nature of Elder Kings (longevity of characters) your mod is almost a little OP. For my public compatch, I request to edit the requirements for the traits a little (to increase the required # of battles).

@Grimdor I uploaded awhile ago after about 30 min of testing on a new game. I'm honestly not sure what it will do on a saved game. Those characters that already have 2 traits may just advance both of them but at least no new characters will have two traits at the same time.

There's an annoying bug such that a character can have more than one veteran trait, when they should only have the higher trait. It doesn't always happen. I'm going to try to fix it over the weekend.

Dillo's comment of May 25 is correct: "Blutkrank" changed to "Kriegsversehrt". Unfortunately, it was not generally improved; so I did it for myself. ;)

Found someone to teach me how to use an image program. I can now say I know how to make icons. Don't know if I can say I know how to make "good" icons yet, lol.

I suggest replacing "Blutkrank" with "Kriegsversehrt" in the German localization in line 22. You can't translate "Blood Sick" literally into German, because here not "to be sick" (illness) is meant, but "to be sick of sth." (I don't like it). By definition, "Kriegsversehrt" describes invalids who are physically or mentally harmed by war.

@Wolfskrieg I created this version because for some reason I had an issue (hopefully resolved) updating the original. At this point both should work fine. I will probably just update this one in the future to cut down on the confusion.

Just FYI the localization for the traits doesn't show up correctly in the ruler designer. The problem is that you have triggered descriptions for the traits but only a localization for "trait_name"_character_desc and not "trait_name"_desc.

Anyway, I made a german translation and I added the missing localizations in that. Feel free to add it to your mod if you're interested.

@GhostRage Hey; I had problems updating and troubleshooting the original one because of the PDX launcher so I had to create this one. I think I finally figured out what was causing the problem so at this point either one should work. Since you have both can you do me a favor and see if the original one causes the game to crash and let me know either way by posting on that mod's page?

@Cairsiden I'm not sure how to do that, assuming it's possible at all. If I'd make a change I'd spread out the ranking (say 10 20 40 80 or 15 30 60 120) instead.

So I like the idea, but it's rather easy to fight twenty battles or more within just a few years. So it's pretty easy to rank up quickly. I think it's great for knights that will probably end up dead pretty quickly anyways, but otherwise you max much too quickly. Is there a way you could add a cooldown to the counter, so say when you beat an army and they come back the next day to get their arse whooped again it wouldn't add to the counter? So you'd still need 20 wins but you can only get a maximum of 1 win a month? Or perhaps you could do it by the war so you can only get say 3 win points per war? I'm not sure whether that's doable or not, but thought i'd suggest it anyways.

New additions to the mod: There's a small chance for veteran knights/commanders to gain one of 2 modifiers during a battle. The modifiers last for 2 years. Within that 2 year window there is a high chance for them to gain one of 2 traits.
