The Dynasty Head is the oldest living member of the dynasty, the highest in the tree. It does not have to do with who is on the throne.

Why is my father (formerly player controlled) still considered the dynasty and house head after he abdicated even though he has 0 troops? Is there anyway to circumvent this?
