It's my fault,i did not notice it the first time....
WernerK  [author] Sep 10, 2023 @ 9:29am
I already doubted if I had forgotton the most important thing in the description. But I did write: "Then choose the Ramp Equalizer also located there (the inclination symbol) and click on the marked section - or just somewhere in the terrain."
tussock Sep 10, 2023 @ 8:24am
thank you a lot.Now i know the reason.the mod has worked. The video is really useful.I did't know the step "click somewhere" before,i thought a button written start or ok somewhere or just a key on the keyboard.....Sorry to trouble you with such a simple question.....:steamfacepalm::steamfacepalm:
WernerK  [author] Sep 10, 2023 @ 6:06am
At first you have to set the markers. Select the Marker icon. You MUST have installed the "marker Start/End" mod! Left-click for the start, right-click for the end (it's new!) Then change to the Ramp Equalizer Icon, as a beginner keep all settings and click somewhere. Then it should work. Please always read the instructions! You could also have a lok at a video. It's not from me and in German, but you should see how it works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YfVpn3QPCh4

Excuse me,i cannot make out how to use this mod. When i open the game and find the mod like the second picture in this page, complete settings about slope, then i do not know the next step, which button should i press to make the track continuous inclination.Maybe it's an unintelligent question, but hope your reply,it really bothers me........:steamsad::steamsad:

not rocket science, only mathematics :steamhappy:

lol build the slope and let the AI do the rest! So futuristic!

Look for further updates the next days/hours! At this moment I'm working on a problem I've noticed at the last minute: The info panel is not always updated. Finding a solution is not so simple, but everything else seems to work well.
Blackdragonbird Apr 10, 2023 @ 10:48am
Downloaded it now. I had downloaded the 1.6 some time ago, but my laziness prevented me to report the info panel issue sooner. :steamfacepalm: Thanks.
WernerK  [author] Apr 10, 2023 @ 8:02am
@Blackdragonbird: Did you already download Version 1.7?
Blackdragonbird Apr 9, 2023 @ 7:53pm
Hey man. Trying your beta version and it's really pretty fast, but the info panel sometimes do not appear. It's supposed to work this way, or is something tied to the fast calculations of the 1.6 beta version?
WernerK  [author] Mar 25, 2023 @ 2:39pm
@Turgon and all: A new Beta is out, but not yet available on Steam because I don't publish betas here. But if you are interested in testing this maybe a little faster version you can download it at transportfever.net .
Blackdragonbird Mar 20, 2023 @ 6:50am
@Wernerk, thanks, is fixed. =)
WernerK  [author] Mar 20, 2023 @ 2:54am
@Blackdragonbird: Ist behoben.

Got this error when trying to straight a bridge using start+end configuration:

Can I help you debug it in any way?
WernerK  [author] Mar 15, 2023 @ 10:24am
@ Turgon: The update is here. Please tell me if it has become better. I don't really think so because I think this is an issue with the new game update. :steamsad:
WernerK  [author] Mar 13, 2023 @ 6:31pm
@ Turgon: The next days I will do an update. Perhaps it will get better then. I didn't yet notice this problem - but slowing down was a rare issue at the parallel tool. If it doesn't change we must do some research. The new game update has broken so much. Are you playing in classic mode?
Turgon Mar 13, 2023 @ 3:08am
Since the most recent update this has gone from taking a minute or two to never resolving.

Anyone else found this?
WernerK  [author] Mar 2, 2023 @ 3:25pm
@Blackdragonbird: Set "Preferably continuous inclination" to "Start + End". Then either choose inclination 0% or Height difference 0. Don't use "AUTO" mode!
Blackdragonbird Feb 28, 2023 @ 4:54am
Very good tool, but I'm still confused in how to use it's options. I looked into the PDF but it was not very clear in how each option work exactly.

Can you point me in how to make it straight between the starting and ending point?

Selecting the first piece and last piece and applying the AUTO option has no effect.

Lieber Werner,

i figured. it's unfortunate, i hope it is changed in a game update
WernerK  [author] Apr 22, 2022 @ 6:54am
@bluelagoon8951: This is right. But it's a feature of the game, and it makes sense with intersections. But I think it makes no sense at changes of the street type. I am vexed about this, but it is a flaw of the main program. I cannot do anything against it.
fionaaajade Apr 21, 2022 @ 12:11pm
i think @spike26 was referring to how street intersections are always flat in the game, and there's no way of having a continuous sloped road with roads coming off the side.
Gazac Mar 23, 2022 @ 5:46am
We need a slope tool in the Landscaping/Terrain Tool, much like in City Sky lines
mongolteiko Feb 24, 2022 @ 7:03am
Great mod! An essential tool!
janaforce Feb 23, 2022 @ 3:14pm
Absolut genial vielen lieben Dank dafür
Stealthy Feb 23, 2022 @ 4:53am
First part slope is eliminated with a quick landscape tool. Levelling gun, quick hit and then the start is flat. I usually start from station so it automatically levels that way but when I don't, I'll smoothen terrain before starting. Just a little dap, no need to do too much.
mt120784 Feb 23, 2022 @ 4:04am
@stealthy Yup, this is what I realised a while back too. Even if you build supposedly "flat" track, the first segment you build will align with the terrain and THEN flatten. So you need to build one "flat" segment first, and then every segment after that using the flat tool will be truly flat, the first part will have a slope in it.
WernerK  [author] Feb 22, 2022 @ 3:59am
@spike26: No, I don't really know what you mean. If you think of the transition areas between streets with different widths which generate flat sections although there should be a slope - no, it's not possible, because this is defined in the main program.
spike26 Feb 22, 2022 @ 3:43am
Is this worked on for example, street crossroad that intersection will be not on flat only terrain but possible to build sope road with interseciont on it with no terrain update to flat? if you know what i mean. sorry for language ;)
WernerK  [author] Feb 22, 2022 @ 3:38am
@Stealthy: It's your free decision to use this mod or not. And believe me - I do know how slopes work. :steamhappy:
Stealthy Feb 22, 2022 @ 2:22am
You click the arrow for increment to set the slope, with shift you get smaller steps to hit exactly what you need. What people don't usually realise, that first you need to build so called transition arc. That the transfer from flat to slope. You first make flat road / track. Then you start from that and set the slope and build only a short section, I usually do max 250m for railway. That is where track goes from flat to gradient. Then you continue with gradient and finish off at gradient. After that you start with gradient and finish to flat, making the transition arc from gradient back to flat.

You'll never have any undulations or other problems with this approach. It will always be well behaved, steady track / road.
Kellykeli Feb 22, 2022 @ 1:57am
Hoooly shit, coming from cities skylines this is going to be SO USEFUL
WernerK  [author] Feb 22, 2022 @ 1:52am
@Stealthy: What about creating a constant inclination between two points with different heights? You cannot calculate exactly where it will end. Will you really tear down the whole thing and build it again? And what about these bumps which arise when a street is laid on hilly ground? You have no precise control with the arrow option. Gamers may not need this mod but it's for all who like exact results.
Stealthy Feb 22, 2022 @ 1:34am
Making track without those undulations, or road, is very easy in the base game. Just use the arrow option where you set the constant angle. Use SHIFT to modify smaller steps.

Was ein starkes Tool. Vielen Dank dafür!
