A big thanks to all the new subscribers , ive noticed a big spike recently. It is nice that there still seems to be a need for this mod to exist. It also gives me the incentive to keep updating the mod for future updates.

i think thats about it for now , i will update my mod as fast as possible as always, enjoy and have a great time!

reduced build cost and speed to 5/10/15%
reduced lifestyle trait xp gain bonus to 40/60/80%
reduced accolade glory gain to 40/60/80%

added legitimacy gain bonus 40/60/80%
added court grandeur baseline 5/10/15
added scheme secrecy 5/10/15
added county opinion bonus of 5/10/20
added monthly county control growth 0.4/0.6/0.8

Alright so i do have some ideas, like making it easier for the ai to gain legitimacy. Ill need to check if i thats possible with modifiers. I will give it a look. Any other suggestions ?

-AI war cooldown reduced by %25/50/75 yet again. This does not mean the ai will declare wars. Just opens the possibility for it.

- AI war chance increased by % 5/10/10

Update: Adjusted very hard and extremely hard difficulties to be slightly less rediculous
- reduced ai vassal contribution for taxes and levies on extremely hard to very hard level
- reduces tax income bonus on extremely hard to very hard level
- reduced most bonuses on very hard and extremely hard slightly
- vassal opinion and realm priest opinion reduced

- adjusted player penalties for court grandeur and personal sheme power penalty

- stress gain increased by 10, 20, 30 % (based on difficulty)

small update:

Added icon to show 'not achievement compatible' when setting game rules

Made it so that if you first start up this mod the default difficulty setting is set to hard automatially

mod has been updated to Bastion 1.7*
- removed the plot armor changes to be more compatible with further base game updates.

The mod should work with future updates even if it says it is outdated !

I have yet to try your mod, but I will on my next play trough, since it seems like the hardest one out there!

I have to remark, from a mathematical standpoint increasing and decreasing with 80% seems a bit asymmetrical. An 80% increase is to multiply with 1.8, while to decrease with 80% is to divide by 5. I would intuitively think that the game's native mechanics would be better preserved by a more proportional take. For example you could both multiply and divide by 2 (in other words a 100% increase and 50% decrease).

I hope this makes sense to you and that you are not offended from me commenting before actually trying the mod.

Would it be possible to mod in that the player is also affected by the dread an AI character spreads? Giving the AI more dread is good for them, sure - but the effect is unnecessary limited in my eyes, as long as the player directly evades its effect.

Update: Removed the player plot armor "Don't gang up on players" wich allows multiple ai to try and murder a player at once.

Hard is supposed to be like very hard mode in eu4 , very hard is probably limit your alot and extremely hard is like hell mode where you need alliances and stuff to even do something

Update: fixed ai scheme bonuses to actually work and increased ai hostile scheme chances
increased ai realm priest opinion
increased ai piety gain
increased men at arms on extreme, increased vassal limit on hard

I made some major changes again to try and bring the game to life, i got rid of the ai personality changes, made top lieges have more taxes and levies and adjusted alot of modifiers. Embarkment cost for ai has been reduced. There is less money overall but more for top lieges now. Same for levies.

It would be neat to see the option to reduce player levies but it would be even cooler to see a massive increase to the number of men at arms the ai could have because I always see the ai with a massive income and nothing spend it on.

Seems like the players vassals are also buffed with bonus levy not only the enemy and their vassals. This is sad. Can u fix it?

nice loved that CK2 had a grind and difficulty to it but it was well worth the struggle but now CK3 is easy mode and I get board

@BlackLuck thank you for the feedback, im currently trying to play witth more ai values.Im also changing levy and tax bonuses to ai ruler only vassal contribution buffs to make it even less easy for a player to gain something from the ai buffs in their own realms. that said i apreacate the feedback alot. This new update might be pushed later today.

@DestinyCallsYou thank you for your work on this - it is good. I went much deeper in a game without steamrollering, and yes, I used this one that affects the player.
